  1. $95, excellent clutch for sure....i have one on my shee and love it
  2. my case saver was prolly the best $25 ive ever spent on my shee.
  3. lol, no i was just saying to trash them. Trust me i think we ALL have posted enough about those damn tors to write a book
  4. thats nice of you to offer bro, but thats a good cruise for me i live in grand haven. I appreciate the offer tho
  5. thats true but i also want something reliable. All my buddies are going up to the dunes this weekend and the shee is down AGAIN this damn thing is down more than its up and going. I understand that they require tinkering but damn this thing is a straight up money pit. hell ive only got maybe 20hrs on the damn thing since i bought it 9 months ago b/c its always screwing up.
  6. the leak was the orginal problem, thats why i split the cases and re-sealed them...so i think it just took some time to push out the new yamabond or something i cleaned those damn cases really good, i let the engine sit 2 days before i put any oil in it or started it
  7. man i have the worst damn luck with banshees. Its odd, it ran perfect 2 weekends ago at silver lake. I didnt touch it since then and went up last saturday and its running lean....gay
  8. is this a difficult question?
  9. if there was anything i could give you a heads up on is trash the tors and make sure your banshee is jetted right and you should be golden bro! welcome to the hq
  10. piece of sheet metal? the only sheet metal i can think of is the little piece that has the 2 screws...one goes to the upper case and the other screws into the lower case...that should for sure be on there if thats what your talking about. Other than that i wish i could help you out more. Believe me ive had every damn clutch issue known and now its to damn case problems lol and left to right movment is fine it just means your basket cushions are worn a little bit but 1/8th inch i wouldnt worry about.
  11. i think my cases might be warped. If they are, is there any way to fix them? Or does it mean if there warped i need to find a new set? I had to split my cases recently because they were leaking up by the pipes. So i re-sealed them and put in a new seal kit (crank, trans, etc) and now it is bubbling up the yamabond and starting to push it out in the exact same spot it leaked before. If i do have to re-do it again will i need to buy a new set of crank and trans seals? could there be another reason why its leaking in that spot? It just doesnt make sence both cases were cleaned perfect before i put it back together and i checked that spot before i put it back together and it looked fine. thanks
  12. if i can get my shee in for a leak down test before that and fix my air leak im in to. broke as hell right now, just picked up my new triumph
  13. by play do you mean back and forth (left and right) or push and pull play (up and down) if it is back and forth your cushions are prolly worn but i dont think 1/4" is bad. i had the exact same thing and put on a new oem basket and hub and it only has like 4 hours on it and it moves back and forth a little bit already so i wouldnt worry about it if thats the case
  14. anytime, im just glad i could help
  15. ok first of all, im sure your banshee clutch doesnt work good because your humping it, its prolly because your filling up the trans with your cum every night after your boyfriend gets you off instead of using gear lube. Nice try tho hero
  16. well i just got back from silver lake and ofcource it ran lean. I only ran it for a few mins in the sand and my plugs had little tan color to them so its going to get a leak down test and see wtf is up. Did a compression test and everything is the same as before i left so im glad i put her away before i locked it up. if my cases are warped are they junk or can they deck them or something....by the way bansheeman your banshee you have on craigslist is f-ing badass
  17. im taking it up to the dunes tommarow. I am going to put a new set of plugs in and go rip for a little bit then check them and see what they look like. I checked my plugs after my last ride and they look PERFECT. Damn i dont want to have to split the f-ing cases again to fix this mother.
  18. i plan on it! i will see if my cousin, dekker, and another buddy want to go also
  19. it wont hurt anything will it? ive ran it this way for probably 20 hours with no problems
  20. im positive its not exhaust...this is the same reason i split the cases to re-seal them and it still is leaking somehow. I can see where its pushing the yamabond out. I did everything the way the manual said to do it....it wont hurt anything b/c its pushing out not sucking in right? thanks...it runs amazing
  21. now it still leaks a little bit up front under the left pipe...what the hell? i used yamabond and it seems like its pushing it out.
  22. for your mods i would probably launch in 2nd. I did a few 1st gear launches up at silver and got smoked by alot of quads then did 2nd gear launches and beat alot of quads that beat me when i did 1st gear. I dont feather the clutch when i wheelie i just put her in 3rd get almost to the powerband let off a little then hit it to pull up the front then feather the throttle as much as needed to hold the front end up. i agree with 06banshee, on streets i would only do 1st gear launches. i only do 2nd in sand b/c 1st spins like a bitch
  23. its always worth it if you smoke some stuck up asshole expecially a 4-stroke...haha
  24. wow is all i have to say. 4th gear launches? you had to have been slipping the hell out of that poor clutch. I love the f.a.s.t. racing clutch myself but honestly i dont know of anything that will take 4th gear launches....please tell me you smoked that 450 with your 392
  25. $70? you must be looking at a pingel or something because i know for a fact that a oem yamaha petcock is $24...just ordered myself one yesterday...i wouldnt rig it just spend the money and do it right
