there is alot of guys looking for 4-strokes for wifes, kids etc. If i had two banshees i would trade one for a z400 in a heartbeat for trail riding or something
In your title you say the "best timing plate" Cast plates arnt the best, but just work fine. IMO billet is the way to go. Others say spend the money elsewhere, really its just what gives you most peace of mind. (not trying to play devils advicate brandon lol)
rob, you have a good taste in your shit!!! badass banshee 67' camaro and that badass diesel.....nice. I LOVE the 67'-69' body style camaro, surely american muscle.
Fuckin A buddy. My 2.2 runs damn good for how many HARD miles I've put on her. I'd probably keep it if it wasn't slower than a constipated asshole.
LOL thats very true.....i wasnt saying that to you, i was saying it to the dumbass putting down 2.2 s10's
your a dumbass. I have a 97 s10 with the 2.2 4 banger and ive put over 155,000 HARD miles on it without touching it besides oil changes and a alternator. You must buy garbage or something because everyone i know who has owned a 2.2 s10 loves them. Slow as hell but one of the most reliable trucks on the road. Also camaros get pretty damn good gas miliage, my buddy has a camaro with a ls1 with the 6-speed trans and he pulls 20 miles per gallon when easy on the pedal. Jump on that camaro and put the shee on the back burner for a while
Yeah snowmobile studs hook amazing but pull out kinda easy if your using a thin tire. Im going to be buying a set of ice racing tires and putting around 300 screws in each of my back tires and prolly 150 in the fronts...I get about 5/8" screws.. A screw that long alot of the time will break through the tire so i get a bunch of old rubber and glue that to the inside of the tire, then wrap some duct tape around that and run a tube. works great with very very few pullouts. If i were to run snowmobile studs woodys sells a 96 carbide stud kit that includes studs, backers, and nuts for around $150 i think. 48 snowmobile studs in each tire will be plenty.
You can get 1000 ice racing screws for around $55
spec 2 pipes are OK at best, Toomeys are a little better...never heared of pipe factory. My dad has Jim Loma's pipes on his rz and those things are sick as fuck
Note: this isnt his rz, just found the pic online with Jim Loma's pipes
that is some very good points. I used my 4x4 to plow the ice last year for dirtbike ice racing and it worked well. For the permit, in michigan you dont need one. You dont even need a ORV sticker to ride on the ice. For the liability, i will have to type something up and have everyone sign it so i dont get fucked. It really sucks how people are now days...i would never hold anyone liable for a accident i caused......great ideas...I will plow the tracks off the night before as well to make sure its perfect so if anyone comes from anykind of distance they arnt let down
il get it bro. Shot a deer friday and had to track it saturday morning...took up alot of my free time this past weekend. The money i was going to spend on that seat went to the deer processor. What are you building? a 4mill?

I want to make it based around you guys so whatever sounds good to you post it up. I will put a ad up on craigslist, hardcore sledder, and prolly put a ad in the paper so we can get a good turnout and have a fun time.
