  1. Yeah he tried not to. He damn a pretty good job. I can't complain for a same day turn around! Lol.
  2. That's what I figured! :: Thanks
  3. Took the frame and a couple other pieces to get powder coated. It looks like the dude did what I said, by not coating any threads completely. Now there seems to be something wrong, because I can't get certain things to re-thread. Things like the spindles and other major components. So my question is, how do I clean out the left over powder coating out of the threads? Or do I re-thread?
  4. Haha. When I saw the topic in the drag forum, I was going to say I use Klotz Super TechniPlate, but nevermind. It's up to $7.29!! It's robbery!
  5. I just recently did one of the things that you are talking about. If you look under my name to the left, you can see the date that I joined. Since then, I have spent a LOT of money building my custom bike. I bought a roller and then had to contact a dealer for a stock motor, and then have him do the work that I wanted for it. Also, just like you, my bike has to have my touch. So when I got the roller, I had to break everything down and see how it worked. One thing that you could do is buy a bike already geared towards your type of riding. Whether it be dunes/trail/asphalt. Then go from there. I know you said that you don't have the money right now. WAIT. You will get a better sense of feeling knowing that you bought a bike you can work with, then one you can't. Also, welcome to the baddest ass banshee site anywhere. These are a great group of guys and they will always be willing to offer up their help!
  6. Aha! Now I got it! I love it when you show me old pictures of her.
  7. Wow! I was way off! Lol.
  8. 56 pounds? I think?
  9. Just say no to Trinity.
  10. Try Wicked at wickedatv.com. You want American Racers on some Douglas Blue Label rims. They are the lightest around.
  11. You could keep the tranny gears the stock ones. The sprockets though, I run an 18/38. - Justin
  12. Try this site out; http://www.wickedatv.com/DUportal30/home/t...hannel=Products They got everything you need to get started. - Justin
  13. Speaking of which. I see pretty things in your avatar now! Way to go! Stick it to her! That is coming from a female. So that's how you know without a doubt that you are a whiney little bitch. - Justin
  14. Now that is what we are here for! Fun! - Justin
  15. I just started my build a little over 3 months ago. Trust me when I say it gets expensive quick. I have spent $10k in that short amount of time, and my bike still isn't ready. I only used the best parts money can buy though. You could easily go a cheaper and quicker route. If you want to know more about my set-up and what I have put my money into, just pm me and we can chat. =) P.s. Welcome to the HQ and also the most addictive thing in the world. - Justin
  16. Ok. 1st thing, wannashee20, you're an idiot for thinking that the PM you sent loco was going to help. 2nd thing, I am proud to be part of this garage now. This is our garage and we shall personalize to each persons liking. What ever happened to freedom of press? 3rd thing, loco, I wondered if that was your girl when I first seen it. Good for you man. I would be proud of showing her off also. 4th thing, that dirty sanchez bit is funny as hell. Now wannashee20...Get the fuck outta our garage! - Justin
  17. I vote for cascade. I just ordered my polished shifter and chrome kicker from them. Got a tracking number 10 minutes later. Top notch shiot man. - Justin
  18. Yeah the frame was orange and the plastics were candy red with black skulls. Pretty bad ass. I can't wait to get my motor in it and see what that kind of frame can handle. - Justin
  19. I did have pictures man. I accidently deleted them. It was sexy as hell the way he had it set up. You might have seen it before though. You know Cam? Or yfzdunejumper? I bought my bike of him. He had the OEM frame lightened by GT Performance from 56 pounds down to 26 pounds!! Then had it reinforced with chromoly. Ooooo sexy! - Justin
  20. Sounds good. The guy I got mine off of was runnin' a 7 mil in my frame. With all fluids and a tank of gas he was at 262 pounds with no wheelie bar. I'm hoping to get in that range. - Justin
  21. Hell yeah. Go NAVY - Justin
  22. Well I started building my drag bike just over 3 months ago. When I first read your post, a few questions came to mind. How far do you want to race? 330 ft. 660 ft. Or 1320? These are the most common. Next question is, dirt or asphalt? I bought a roller first, because I didn't have a bike already. So I had to worry about getting a motor too. Everybody that you ask will tell you to go with their motor builder, because they are the best. I went with the one who seemed the most competant, and would give me a motor with work done to it, for a fairly decent price. Like I said, that was 3 months ago. I have already spent close to $10k on my build. It gets expensive when you try to lay down big numbers. My bike is strictly for asphalt. I have talked to a lot of the guys on here. They are all helpful and willing to give advice when they can. - Justin
  23. Make it and sell it as your own is cool with me man! As long as I get to buy it first. I found the image on a website. I think it says a lot about my new build. Outside is beautiful, but yet it has complete evil powering it. - Justin
  24. Man I hope these are simpler than just reading about it on here. I have one of these coming with my new motor. - Justin
  25. http://i152.photobucket.com/albums/s191/ch...d_891_34484.jpg How about this? Think it would be pretty cool. Might want them facing outwards though, like with their backs to each other. Let me know man. I would definately be up for one of these! - Justin
