  1. Hey bro, just so you know. I was looking through all your links, and the last two up there in the first post. Are the same link. I'm talking about the Toomey T-5 link and the override link. Nice bike by the way. How much would you take for the whole thing? Just curious.
  2. Nevermind, I just paid an arm and a leg through Sprocket Specialists. Did you know that they have 74 tooth rears for the banshee!? Hahaha, that bitch would stand right up at the crack of the throttle!
  3. Nobody?
  4. Higher primary gears is something I will be looking into shortly. I just want to see if this setup gets me to where I need to be in the 1/8th mile. Any suggestions on what sprockets I should start out with? This is what I will be running; 14mil Cheetah with a 73 bore 41 Mikuni alky 1-5 override 20" American Racers on a 10" rim All the other important stuff is in my sig. Total race weight should be under 280lbs. Thanks for the help.
  5. Hey, I would like to purchase an 18/38 setup if anybody has one. I can't seem to find them online anywhere. I have a 40 rear from Sprocket Specialists, but I would like to go taller. If anybody has either, please let my know ASAP. I will paypal you the money and you can overnight it to me. Thanks
  6. $4,000? Come on, that is $1,500 less than what I paid. Plus I put a lot of blood sweat and tears into it.
  7. Maybe $4500???? Come on. Somebody wants it.
  8. Thanks man. She still needs work. She has gone a best of 13.5 in the 1/4 with a bigger carb. It is street legal, but I just drive it back and forth to the track. I thought about getting the almighty Chevelle. Oldsmobile's just apeal to me more. Really i'm a GM guy. I'll prolly work on the price with someone if they are really interested.
  9. I have no clue why the traction bars are like that. It came like that, and I lost interest. So I never messed with it. What's going on with that 462? What have you got done to it?
  10. Why would you want to build it with a banshee engine? Why not a street bike engine? Makes more sense. Money wise anyway.
  11. Planned parenthood! Hahaha
  12. Nice car man! I love Olds man. I have that '71 and I also have an '88. The '88 needs some TLC also. Anybody need a new toy? Come on! Somebody wants to buy it. Or i'll take a quad for trade. Maybe even a 4-stroke. I'll trade up or down!
  13. No mine is not duneable. Why would I want duneable if mine is purposely set up for street?
  14. Don't tell me this. My motor is on it's way from UPS!!!
  15. The problem with the 1-6 override, is that you have to come to a complete stop in order to downshift. Atleast I can downshift when I am coming back around to the starting line.
  16. Alright. Here's the deal. Bought this car last year after my first deployment to Iraq. Spent a ton of money on it and was just sooo happy with the car. Now the car has become second to my ATV addiction. I'm sad to say that I will let this car go for as much as I paid for it. Which is $5,500. Specs: Original small block Olds 350 Offenhauser racing 360 degree intake MSD Ignition Mallory distributor *Holley 600 carb *Scat Rally series seats (2) *Door Panels *20 gal fuel cell *Ralley 350 steering wheel. *Dual 14 in. electric fans with override switch *Floor pans I also have the following not installed yet: Competition Engineering 10 point cage. Headliner Rear door panels A-piller covers I'm sure there is more. Anything with a * is what I put in myself. So you can count on those things being fairly new. The guy that I bought it off of, did not tell me much about the car. Due mainly to me being to stoked to ask about it. I know that the engine has 10.5:1 comp. Which I can attest to, because this car runs like an animal. Other than that. I have no clue of what the heads are, or the cam shaft. Other than that, he told me it is a Comp Cams stick. If you have any specific questions about it, I will try and answer. The car is located in Jacksonville, NC right now. May travel, depending on circumstances. I am looking for a trade. I would like to get a trail rig banshee out of it. I have the title. Somewhere.
  17. Oops
  18. 1-5 override with a lockup is very important for any kind of drag quad. Once somebody figures out how to make a 1-6 override, without the problems associated with it. I might go for one!
  19. That's cool with us man! As long as you own, eat, sleep and breath banshee's. You are always welcome here! P.S. Welcome to the party!
  20. It starts on the first kick every time, because I don't think it is an eletrical problem. Re-check your jetting. See what that does for you.
  21. No. I don't think I want to take it back. Only because, he charged me $65.00 an hour. I dropped it off at 1 o clock on sunday. I got it back at 9 o clock on sunday. I thought it was a damn good deal for $165. What do you guys think?
  22. Naw, he didn't use plastic plugs. He used some kind of tape. I know this because I pulled it off a lot of the parts. The parts he forgot, are the parts I am having problems with.
  23. That is a damn good shop.
