I am a ford fan 100% i own a F350 v10 with a kenne bell supercharger, i bleed blue, the only thing that i have to complain about ford is there shitty gas millage, i owned a 4.6L f150 before my superdyte and they both get about 10 mpgs, thats not very good, that is one thing that Chevy has, they get real good gas millage with there 5.3L and they make ok power to, chevy also OWNS the aftermarket when it comes to engine building, I see 4 whipple supercharges go through ebay a day for there moters and have only seen 2 for my v10 in about 2 years. Fords are indestructible though, at work we have done things to these trucks that would make you cringe in horror because of the shear abuse, so give a ford a thought and in 09 there also dropping the triton series for the hurricane and the 5.4 and 6.8 are being dropped for a 5.8 and 6.2 and ma be a 7plus letter to replace the v10.

Things to check first would be all your vacuum lines, make sure there arnt any leaks causing a lean condition, second would be something like electrical like a corroded main ground or something like that, third is cut out the cats or get them replaced, after about a 100000 they don't flow( my buddy just had something similar happen on his 5.9L with over heating and running shitty and his cats were plugged) but seeing that it happened suddenly i wouldn't think it is. also don't cut it out if there is an 02 sensor after the cat. Also it could very well be your fuel filter, but that's not a good thing if its anything like my buddies 5.9L because the fuel pump and fuel filter are the same unit and the gas tank needs to be dropped and its kind of expensive. But worst case scenario is that you blew a head gasket. kinda sounds like it from the coolant leak, but it could just be a little hole in the radiator, good luck though. This is all my own opinion though and i am not a mechanic so its just my 2cents. and on a side not get a Haynes manual, there like the clymers for the banshee, they show step by step everything, i buy on for all my trucks. then you could probably see were to hook up a vacuum gauge or an fuel pressure gauge.

do you still have cats on it?

look what toomey racing mailed me

All I'm saying is K&N makes air filters for everything! and thousands of people use there air filters every day in there cars and truck and tomey makes filters for four wheelers, seems a little ironic that they would say those filters are junk. kind of funny ( they do let a little sand / dust if they arnt clean or well oiled but for the most part they work well, also if you over oil them and use them in a truck with a MAF sensor that oiling can get on it and mess with the readings causing you to lose power.). -

My favorite part was when they said that a K&N allowes sand to pass through the Cotton, I think that's what the outer wears are for, or if your cheap like me, one of your GFs nylons with the foot cut off. Just my .2 -
I bought flowteks cut silencers they look great if you want me to take some picks or measurements i can get some. I installed them and they looked great i couldn't imagine what they would look like at full length and they are Loud, but the only other setup i had heard is stock.

Got Some New Parts, Need Some Easy Answers
meanv10 replied to 350BANSHEE350's topic in General Banshee Discussion
I know this is a dumb question but i already searched for it, what exactly does a case saver do? I'm guessing it keeps the chain from wrapping around the front sprocket and cracking the case if the chain breaks. Is that right and also if so do they work? -
If you get there and they wont let you on because of the flag you can just buy a new one at DAR right outside the state park for like 20bucks

I bought the 522 piece kit from alloyboltz off eBay, thought it was a nice kit, the SHCS are nice, the packaging was a little confusing but it could just be me. nice kit for cheap, i also like that its 304 stainless, not the shiniest or strongest but very corrosion resistant.
