  1. yea. no grease zerk on the stock carrier.. now would be a good time to drill and tap to add one if ya want... when you put it together be careful not to overtighten the axle nuts, if they are too tight the axle will not spinn freely, overtightened axle nuts put a lot of side load on the bearings, and they will not last very long... just snug it up to get rid of any side to side play, then tighten up the jam nut and you are finished... they should last a while.
  2. i would not suggest honing the carrier.. you want the bearings to fit as tight as possible.. when you hone it out the bearings may fir a little looser in the housing.. maybe just run some sandpaper through it to smooth any ruff spots... that would be all i would do.. no idea on the sig pic bro.. and im not running for any elections anytime soon.. lol
  3. the tube is just a spacer, the grooves will not make any difference.. no need to get a new carrier or spacer.. just put the new bearings in and go.. trust me man.. you are over worrying on this one..
  4. you gonna sell the elkas with the a arms?? how much for the a arms and elkas???
  5. ahhh.. yep, we have seen this before.. just clean it all up. no need to hone on the carrier and what not.. just clean it up, put the new bearings and seals in, and ride.. you really have to mess the carrier up bad to make it useless... from the pics it doesn't look like its that bad at all..
  6. def. let us know how the shee runs when you get these bolted on.. i am curious to know..
  7. not an expert on this, but maybe try using a tire with less paddle? like an 8 paddle or so?? anyone else?
  8. yea travis is a recently new member on here.. i talked to him about a 250r he had for sale on craigslist a while back, then we got talking about banshees. lol.. so i turned him on to the site... seems like a great guy to talk to and seems to know his stuff also.. glad you are happy with the work man..
  9. works sucks.. i have them on my bike.. they claim to give a 30 day ride gaurantee.. whatever.. i wasn't happy with the way my shocks were setup and they refused to honor there 30 day ride gaurantee.. they simply refused to take them back and revalve them.. told me to add more preload.. the guy also said you got what you ordered so be happy with them.. they where WAAAY too mushy.. i could bottom them out from coming down off a wheelie.. get what you want.. but f i could do it again i would get elkas..
  10. can they not be bored?? its usually better to find a good set of used cylinders
  11. if i remember correctly, the 35's and the 33's use the same intake.. both carbs have the same O.D. but a different I.D... someone else will chime in soon i would say..
  12. why not have it powdercoated??? that spray paint is gonna chip and scratch very soon. leaving the swingarm looking like shit.. and will probably rust when the paint is gone... pm me if you need it powdercoated.. i can powdercoat just about anything you need, if not keep your eyes open and ask around.. there are more guys on here doing powdercoat besides me... later, gary
  13. im not sure on the shift shaft, but you can mod the star yourself,, very easy to do.. since you will have it torn apart why not do both mods??? its a no brainer the way i see it.. i did the same, but i still ended up with a dunable overide and lockout!!
  14. ok all you dickheads, back on subject,, i am using the hinson basket with the cushions, seems to be ok, i wish i had the one with the springs in it.. but my opinion is to nutswing your way over to F.A.S.T since he has a nice basket at a nice price.. and no, im not on comission!! lmao
  15. NOPE.. call kevin at herr juggs racing.. he has a 4mill stroker package that inlcudeds porting boring, crank and all.. he will even assemble the motor if you ship it to him... i think its around1300 or 1400.. that will satisfy that hunger for now.
  16. its starting to sound like it could be a stopped up pilot jet... or like spurdy said, out of sync.. best thing to do is clean the carbs out real good and make sure your main and pilot jets are clean... try that and check back with your results.
  17. yep, ditch the boost bottle and put a stock crossover tube back on in its place... also sounds like the slides could be in the carbs backwards... looking into the back of the carbs, you should see that the slides have a arch on the bottom of them.. if they are just straight they are in backwards.. also check the crossover tube, its a tube that is between the carbs, it connects from one carb to the next.. good luck.. just dive in and start learning man.. it will make life easier if you do.
  18. sounds like u have a problem .. it should snap open pretty fast and hard... did this bike sit for a while?? maybe the carbs need cleaned.. or possibly rejetted... does it start easy??? tell us a little more of how it is acting
  19. sounds like a fouled plug or a bad plug wire cap... i would check that first.. it takes 3 things for a 2 stroke to run.. compression, fuel, and spark... i am guessing a bad plug.. first try swapping the plug wires around.. and see if the problem folloows the plug wire... if not try a new set of plugs or just swap the plugs around and see if the problem follows...
  20. hey, sorry dickwheels.. i wasn't trying to jack your thread.. it just sounded like you just found one, and my buddy is in the same boat so i figured i would ask also...
  21. dam.. if i knew it is that wsy to find i would have posted a long time ago also.. my buddy neds a stock box also.. he bought a she that had clamp on uni's .. he really neds an airbox.. anyone else have one?? even at a decent price..
  22. jack and jill went up the hill so he could lick her candy, but jack got a shock and a mouthfull of cock cuz jill's real name is randy!!
  23. i have some 19cc big bore 4mm stroker domes/.. pm me if nterested
  24. hater .. if you are going to start a thread, make it interesting instead of something that makes no sense.. not trying to be rude.. but seriously this isn't slow by the way.
