dont get a full drag port, then it will be halfway useless like my cub motor.. it will make trail riding not impossible, but a big pain in the ass, there are other ways to get good "usable" power from those juggs.. you should go with a 4 mill with a aggressive trail port.. then you can spank ass anywhere you go..

i say cut them.. theres no sand here in ky either, but both my bikes have cut fenders.. heres a pic

well,, does anyone have a set for sale??? i have had 2 fulls sets of sand tires, but i sold them thinking i would never ride sand.... now im kicking myself in the ass.. so if anyone has a set for sale.. let me know.. i gotta try it out.. yea, that is a good idea on sending a spare set of juggs off for porting... i have been debating on doing a 4 mill setup on the trail bike.. but after building the other bike im all tapped out for a while. plus my better half mite kill me as well. lol.. i would love to get a HJR 4 mill though.. who are you gonna get to do your porting?? and what type of portwork?? yea, im nosey as hell . lmao

yea, if i assumed that i will stay in the open on the sand most of the day, i would bring the cub.. just hate to trail ride it a whole lot.. plus i wish i had a set of paddles to try out.. i have never rode with paddles before.. lol.. so i am debating on bringing the cub.. you will be surprised how well they run.. i have this one in perfect tune right now.. running about 150 psi in each hole, 33mm pwks, cpi's, and plus 6 timing.. the timing is what REALLY woke this thing up.. that paired with the overide and lockout, it scares the shit out of me sometimes.. there is no way in hell i can open it up on the blacktop.. maybe if it had a longer swinger, but the +2 it has is just too short for blacktop.. its definately light switch power.. but i'll have fun with either bike.. but i have been itching to try it out, because i just installed the lockout and overide over the winter, so the only place i have rode it is down my road a couple times.. lol.. its loud and the neighbors hate me!! lol

from what i hear, HELL YEA!!! man if you have the money to spend and are going to doing a bore and portwork anyway.. definately go with a 4 mill.. you get more power everywhere.. and more touqe.. it is well worth it.. i have seen some bikes with 4 mills .. and they hauled ass...

my trail bike has a cleanup/trail port done by "ME" . lol.. plus the bolt ons, t5's, vforce, head, and timing.. i am running a single carb setup on it also... it runs good also.. it gets on the pipe very fast.. but it doesn't pull hard up top like i think it should.. but it is jetted a lil rich.

it should hold up just fine.. inly issue i had was with traction, and i like to sling the bike around a lot in the trails, the +4 was too hard for me to swing personaly.. but if you have some tires that hook good, the +4 should be fine.. so u wanna race?? lol

i had a modded star and the shift pro kit. it shifted with no effort, the bike was making a lot of power (cub) and was still hard to shift under WOT, so i went with a dunable overide.. i still have the shift pro kit, but im gonna put it in my trail bike (which already has a modded star)

yea i had a +4 on the cub, didn't like it. but it all depends on the person i guess.. yea i have 2 sets of stock bore/port juggs.. i really want to hang on to them though (sorry), we have 3 banshee's so i keep a lot of parts on hand.. been thinking about getting a set ported.. my buddy has a set of trail ported that are .050 over.. they need a bore though.. its more of a cleanup port, but they look nice.

hell yea dave.. i got my buddys shee back together today.. it sounds real healthy..lol.. it does souns good.. just waiting on the local shop to press the springs back on the shocks, then its all done.. hate to say it, but i wont be bringing the cub with me.. maybe another time

i just did a set of stockers last night, i started a topic on it.. look it up and you can see them.. i am not sure if the factory finish on works is the same as the yammys, but if they are i would say about 60 bucks to do them... pm me and we can talk some more.. you will see these springs in person at atiica, i did my buddys bike, cylinders,cases,head,clutch cover, kicker, brake lever,shifter, foot pegs, ner bar mounts, hubs, and springs.. then you can decide if you like the work...

i have also set stuff up this way for a certain buyer.. say i have a banshee motor a guy wants to buy.. i have listed it under the buyers name.. say his name is fred.. i just list it as freds motor.. no one else will ever find it.. lol
