    The wire has probably been rubbing the stator. I would cut, solder, heatshrink it.. Even if it has not rubbed tha t spot is still weak now... Why half ass it? But if you are not the guy stranded out in the middle of no where because you did a half ass repair, why would you care?

    Water lock = bent rods or damaged rod bearings. Plan on it needing a new crank!!!!

    I would never run any less oil than 50:1. I have ran several different oils. Amsoil always comes out on top as far as im concerned.
