    Tip for bead blasting : Put an old bolt/screw in all threaded holes in cases before blasting. This keeps the holes and threads clean of gritty media.

    The reeds are between the carbs and the cylinder. Unbolt the Intake boots and everything will lift out. You will see the reeds. Do you have a clymers?
