  3. you dont "time" a banshee. Go to the vids section and watch HQ member Magz vidoe on installing a timing plate. It explains everything!
  4. Damn, I been getting up saying "fuckyou" like forver!!
  5. I believe the key is only there for locating the flywheel, and the nut tightness takes the force. your prob was your nut wasnt tight (lol) and your key took all it could handle. also make sure to wipe the crank snout, and inside the hole in the flywheel with brake clean. grease and oil are bad. And can you take a pick of the stator? and did it eat your pick-up coil when the flywheel came loose?
  6. If i remember right, those mikuni's also use front coil springs from a 3/4 chevy truck on the friggin slides!
  7. EASY-OFF oven cleaner. learned that back in my model car building days. swear to god it works!
  8. I had 280's in mine with a modified lid, and 310's with no lid. man, that was a looooong time ago!
  9. I personally have not had good luck with copper head gaskets anyways, new or otherwise. They would leak compression into the water jackets and blow all the water out. thats my 2 cents....

  20. That was obviously not meant for you, as you have already got yours.... and I got my 2 today. That is for the 124 other people who have read this post!!!
  21. If your planning on doing a cub in the near future, I wouldn't spend the money on drag porting your stock cylinders with new pistons, and custom domes. You will just have to buy new pistons and domes again once you get the cub. Just my 2 cents. I agree with him, JUST CUB IT NOW!!!! you wont be dissapointed!!!
  22. I just looked at Cascade Innovations web site, and they want 595 for just the headpipes!!!!
  23. They have been known to go for round 700 bucks with the good chrome on em....
  24. I saw these the other day, ran to the dresser, grabbed a pair of panties, and them creamed em. I am a CNC machinist, and I realize all the hours that it took to write the program alone, let alone junking a bunch of blocks of pricey aluminuum getting it right. In my eyes they are worth every penny. pure art!
  25. Im wondering what they put out with my CPI inframes. bike sounds way different now, im running 20cc domes on em, and cut em to 65.25. Hitting 142 psi compression, and my timing is at plus 4. I may throw a little more timing at it and see what happens........may change domes soon....
