  1. bear in mind, the motor wont start until the fuel mix makes it to the top, so I dont think they would need much in the way of lube......
  2. I thnk its 19 to 21 thousandths...........
  3. I bought my MAC tester, and all the plug adaptors, like 7 years ago, and its been a great tool. I too reccomend it to anyone. I can get you the part number if you like....
  4. If you arent used to a quad, I'd say "arm-pump" is gonna be your biggest immediate problem. If you dont know what that is, go ride full blast across the roughest terrain you have for about 5 minutes, arms turn to jello yet? thats arm-pump. There are ways to help it, like stretching, and lots of arm related exercises. And get some comfy grips for the bike, and a steering stabilizer is a must for ANY banshee, no matter where you ride. A set of FAST-FLEXX handlebars are nice too.......
  5. cant a broken reed cause this guys compression to be off? just throwing that out there....
  6. maybe take a video or sound clip of it, maybe someone will be able to help you then.....
  7. just so you know cole, these will not bolt directly on the banshee, you can buy aftermarket hubs to put them on tho.....

  12. I wouldnt say its common, but it does happen. I would rec that you get a new seal, bearing, and a billet impellor and be done with it. Do it right the first time that way!

  14. sounds like you need to get a manual, and adjust the clutch bolt on the pressure plate to specs.....
  15. actually, ANY aftermarket shock performs better than the stock ones! I have some olt PEP triplerates on mine, and love em. I am gonna try a set of ELKA dune editions on wifes bike....
  16. Yea here while back i bought a set of new, never ran Gecko's mounted on 10inch douglas wheels for 50bucks on craigslist. Ran them one time, and a guy saw them and "had to have those cool looking tires" (thats his exact qoute) anyways, he traded me his 9 paddles extreme haulers straight across (which were like new as well) I swapped him, and ran away giggling!
  17. The heat-gun trick works mainly on the blue stuff. I've not seen any other color do that, but most of my stuff is either white, black, or custom painted. But I have my "fuck-around" plastic on right now, which is blue, and I used the heatgun to get the white outta them. But of course they are cut front and rear =)

  22. What he said, either M&M of F.A.S.T. and before you even start, Magz has an awsome step by step inrtructional thread posted on here, gimmie a sec and I will find it for ya, cuz thats just the kinda guy i am.....
  23. Thats because banshees rule, and 450s suck. But seriously, you may be able to pull the reeds and see what the intake looks like, but it could have a "clean-up" port, but still have the stock port timing and window heights. I have seen people pay big money, only to have had the intake, and transfers "knifed" and think they got something wicked. You would have to pull the top off, and measure the port heights, widths, ect, to know whats done. The transfers are where the magic is, as well as exhaust port height. So yea, you can find out if they are ported, but your gonna have to dig in........
  24. ALL banshee pistons are domed, just FYI.
  25. Those are the "oldschool" style DG's, just so ya know.....
