  1. DAMN!!! I wish I lived in detroit! I have never seen that much banshee stuff on craigslist around here! You should look into that one for 2500 built by A&S. That sounds like the best deal to me......

  3. The Banshee was designed to replace the vagina, but somehow it got to where it cost just as much money, and was all a man would think about. Right now mines on the rag, so I guess I'll go in the house and play with the real thing, Less that ones raggin too!
  4. I have one set that comes apart on its own, like halfway across little sahara, and one set that you would think were welded together!
  5. when I rebuilt my bike last year i had to go .100 over. I never had and issues with overheating or otherwise. matter of fact, i used vitos superstock pistons. bike made 58.93 hp to the rear tires with 20cc domes, cpi inframes, stock carbs, no porting. you need to have a reputable shop look at what you have, and see what thier recomendation is. And is that 64.60 measurement taken from the top? or was that at the bottom? bottom wears way more than the top. and the bigbore stuff is shit in my opinion. stock banshee cylinders have small enuff transfers, you would only be killing the flow in my opinion. And by the way, the only reason I removed my .100 over cylinders was to install my FAST ported cylinders.
  6. I would go with 20cc domes myself, just cause the portwork is gonna drop the compression a little, and I am in tulsa also, and would love to meet this "passion" guy.
  7. sounds like a good set-up to me for a duner. I'm still running stock carbs on mine. maybe santa-wife will bring me some 28's or 30's for xmas. How you like the sandstars on the rear? all I've ever ran was straight paddles.

  9. That sounds like my set-up, but my jugs were cut by jeff at FAST. And im wondering about cut tranny's too. Im not sure what exactly they do. What are you running as far as clutch and tires?
  10. I may have some pics. lemme dig around. I know I still have the soft-jaws I made to fit a stock head in the Mazak mill I run at work. Hell, I may even have a disc with the program on it! The bike that head is on got sold, but I know who has it. Thought about trading him a coolhead just to get my piece of "art" back.
  11. Or you can pay a gazillion dollars to have a stock head cut to accept coolhead domes. We did one, and I dont think I will ever do another. To many man hous involved just to say "ha, i beat you with a stock head" LOL

  13. Other than that, there are people on here who have been running a fast clutch for several years, and on stout ass motors too.
  14. With the fast set-up you will need to check your hub and pressure plate really well, and sign of a groove from where the old plates ran and you will need new ones. The FAST clutch uses plates with wider (more surface area) contact patch. And if your plate and hub are wore out, they wont touch but a little bitty section, and you be slippin again.
  15. There is absolutley no sound better than a bike with cpi's tach'ed out goin up a dune. pure ear-sex.
  16. They last just as well as any other banshee setup. But, the 4mm stroker with a 5mm longer rods works best. The longer rod takes a lot of stress out of the stroker crank. But, just like any other setup, longevity depends on you and how you take care of it.

  18. My wifes bike does that, I just push it back and whack it with a hammer and punch around the aluminum outside of it. Its just swedged in there. Plus it feels good to whack something on occasion. specially when you have 3 banshees.
  19. If I remember right, those were made for vito's by shearer. I may be wrong, but someone on here asked about them before.

  21. You mean the one that bolts to the 3 bolt shift drum cap? if so I have one on mine. works fine with my 13 tooth sprocket, but I dont think I could go bigger than 14 or 15
  22. Or get a Terry Cable dual gasser like me. Fits thumb cable, and gives you both thumb and twist!
  23. If all this didnt fix it, Id say try a new set of plug caps. I see alot of guys blame the coil, but we have seen maybe 2 bikes with bad coils since 87! Not saying they dont go bad, just saying its rare. Try the plug caps first, and you said you tried another cdi box? thats most common prob. And good luck with that ricky stator.
