  1. I ride EVERYWHERE with my CPIs, and I wont ever take em back off!!! Worth every penny to me.
  2. If you need a stud, let me know. I have a set of junk cases I can TRY to pull one out of for ya.
  3. I agree, I have bought from him a couple times, and talked quite a bit, A+ guy in my book. Will definately be dealing with him again!
  4. So let him crash it, and try to fit that replacement a-arm on. and yea, I think you should send his un-educated ass a pic if your frame and bike collection.
  5. myspace.com/sinisterboo it wont let me send friend requests, but I can recieve them, whats up with that?
  6. try posting in the sand forum. I have a set of 21's and a set of 22's, but havent got to run them yet, so I can be of no assistance, LOL
  7. Yep, you need a j-arm.
  8. measure the length of the j-arm that you know is straight, the bent one should be shorter. and to tell if its spindle look down at the good side, and see where the edge of the rim is in relation to the ball joint, now the other side will be way over the middle of the balljoint.... take a pick from the top for us to see.....
  9. regular cool head domes are good all the way up to .100 over (66.5mm total bore)
  10. That looks like 4degrees to me. Just make sure you set that pick-up right, or you will have a bad day. Check out the how-to that Magz did, its a great post, thats sure to answer all your questions....
  11. yep, only bore when you HAVE to. And any big-bore kit that uses stock cylinders is a bad idea in my opinion. All you are doing by putting big bore sleeves in a stock banshee cylinder is taking away transfer area, which is kinda low to start with anyways.
  12. Most of them use either beetle bug tie rod ends, or ford ranger (mini-truck). Thats what I have found, may be different for your application.
  13. what domes, porting, pistons, ect?
  14. Maybe this will win...... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=El-C3w4CYqo
  15. You either bent a spindle, or bent the J-arm, which is most likely. Post a ad in the wanted section for those parts, And I'm sure someone will help you get back on the trail.
  16. and sounds like your banshee friend is due for some mods too!
  17. Jeff did mine too, and I am way pleased. He will be recieving my wifes jugs, LOL in the near future!!
  18. just buy the bike, and then buy a frame from NYUK on here, I bet he has one with papers for ya. switch it all over and BLAM! ride the shit out of it!
  19. I dont think the bike will actually burn that much, but over rough terrain the stock carbs will drip and leak a bunch of fuel out of the little overflow vents on each side. If you look at a pic of say, a Kehin 35mm Airstryker, see how the vent hoses go from one side over the top to the other? Do that with your carbs, and that will eliminate the fuel loss, and leave more to burn!
  20. Is that the cover LOCO donated to the project?
  21. As anyone on here will tell you, you wont be dissapointed sending them to a reputable porter, I.E., Jim at Passion Performance here in tulsa ok, Kevin Herr, at Herr Juggs, or Jeff at F.A.S.T in Holton Kansas. This is one area of your build that pays to do your homework, and not be cheapskate......
  22. what do you mean they didnt have the "right size" sparkplugs? if you run the wrong plug, gapping doesnt make up for it. Go to your local oriellys auto parts, they always have a good selection of NGK plugs......
  23. typical pimpin. Got a whole garage full of other peoples bikes to work on since I have been advertising with my bike. LOL. Even makin a little money at it!
  24. He's right, nobody knows more about meth than us okies. Oh wait, METHANOL. my bad. LOL
  25. Parts are very hard to find for those bikes, especially engine parts. I had a old 77 ktm 420, and it was made when Penton owned em. when the 2 companies split they auctioned off all the parts. Luckily, The 80 year old man who had bought it all had the parts I needed in his barn. Only took me a year to find a "useable" piston and rings!!! But get on some vintage dirtbike forums, and ask around. AHRMA would be your best bet....
