  1. Just a quick thanks to all the pro's on here who help us with our addictions. And this thanks does not go out to the post whores. I could be a pro too if I posted 700 fucking lol's and smiley faces. you know who you are kid.
  2. We are wanting to just put a stock one on. If no-one close to me chimes in, then I will be interested... By the way, I'm in tulsa oklahoma.
  3. Wifes bike is just way too fast with this badass boost bottle on it. Gotta tone it down some. Just kidding. did a leakdown test, and found the bottle to be leaking. Surely someone out there can hook me up with a stocker for cheap. Wife is unhappy she cant ride, and you guys know what dealing with thats like!
  4. Yep, I just figured that out, its a lonestar, and wifeys bike got the dura blue. now I have to have a dated proof of purchase. Prob is it was a small shop that was going under and was just selling off inventory. I bought a set of eyeball enginerring a-arm, a round housing swinger, and a bunch of other shit at once. too bad I didnt use my credit card, or else I'd have proof! I'm sorry, but this axle is wayyyy to long for them to tell me to stuff it up my hoo-haa. If my local shop wont help me out with a "dated receipt" LOL i may need to see about having it fixed. I have a press, v-blocks, and dial indicators, which should be all I need. but I dont feel real comfy going that route. maybe straighten and have it cryo'ed?
  5. ok, next question, here is the part number thats stamped on it, LS-Y1-09/01-009. can anyone help verify this as a dura-blue number before I make an ass of myself? I'm assuming the 09/01 is a date code, which sounds logical since I bought it in 02. But like many, i've slept since then, and moved bout 20 times, so paperwork and receipt would be long gone..... Its an adjustable one, +1 tp +4. i guess. Anyone have one of these?
  6. Does anyone know what I have to have to get my dura-blu axle warrantied or repaired? wanna give that a shot before I try and buy one.....
  7. I never heard anything back either, but i did squeeze 58.93hp outta mine. no porting and 26mm carbs. I am getting ready to put my FAST ported cylinders on and looking for some 28mm carbs.....
  8. Im just about ready to put the cylinders on my bike. If nobody gets the kicker pm me.
  9. i thought u sold the kicker?
  10. i have built 2, and so far heres whats bit me in the ass, the 87 had the huge nice intake side of the cylinder, but only has 6 studs instead of the later 7. the crank bearing issue is easily fixed with a steel insert, which i make. they like to have new waterpump bearing and seal, as they go bad from sitting in water, not a design flaw like most think. plus, from stock, to .200 over bores available? bore a banshee 3mm over and see what happens! thats ten freaking overbores available! I agree with the frame, check it over really well, especially under the motor, and around the front upper shock mounts. A lifelong friend of mine turned me on to these bikes, simply because i had a few banshee's and he wanted something different. He was killed 3 months ago, and I vowed to continue the build of his 87 just the way he wanted it. He had already bought everything to freshen it up, and a few people have donated parts to keep the build going. Bottom line, I am banshee through and through, but I have to build ronnies quadzilla, and ride it to the top of the tallest dune at little sahra here in OK. Hope to see you guys there. hit me up with any questions you have about either bike. love em both!
  11. I just bought some dune ported jugs that were ported by jeff at fast, how did your buddies run?
  12. I wouldn't be worried about a banshee swingarm if i had a 3000ex!! just kiddin, metalurgy is some cool shit, especially when you find out after waking up in the ambulance that maybe that extra hundred or so dollars for a swingarm from a reputable mfg was worth it. just my opinion......
  13. I bought the cylinders and couldnt be happier! I may want the kicker if it isnt sold yet colby....
  14. as the founder of B.R.A.B.B I am glad to see so many joining! I bet if we melt down all the boost bootles in the world, we could cast cheeta cubs for just about every HQ member!!!
  15. I bought a set of cylinders from colby for a great price, and once i recieved them, I was shocked that i got these for so cheap. thanks colby, and you were an exellent seller!
  16. c'mon, just buy the damn thing!! or trade me somethin shiny!!
  17. A running blaster motor alone is worth 450, I would get it and sell all the straight parts on ebay. Just dont be that guy who sold the bent frame and said it was fine! LOL
  18. Payment being sent on those cylinders.........
  19. ha ha, now you looking for PTmids again? LOL
  20. My shee's leak more than they burn i think. damn vents spew when i turn hard.
  21. Thats a Pingle dual outlet valve on his. the only drawback to the pingle is that it just on or off, no reserve. Your stock valve will work, just have to re-route some new fuel lines.
  22. Looks like a good way to burn a hole in a piston! cheaper than nitrous too!
  23. look on flea-bay, there are an ass-load of people parting out nice bikes. You gotta have top notch parts or your not gonna get much. Helpful hint? a fresh coat of black paint doesnt make it new! I wish these ebay people knew that! LOL
  24. I can get you some pics of the PT's when I get home 2morrow. They have one ride on em since I beadblasted em and shot em with some VHT gloss black. the silencers will polish out nice and are freshly packed.
  25. Motion pro has the cable you need, and you are gonna need to make sure you get 2 matching needles when you do the swap. as for intake, it just depends on what you wanna spen, cheapest are the UPP intakes. Expensive are the Po-Design billet intakes. And you can just run pod filters, or some people make boots to let you keep for stock airbox with the dual 35MM carbs. Jeff at F.A.S.T will have everything you need.
