  1. I recently took air box cover off and have a proflow kn filter. Any suggestions on where to start. I went up from 280 mains to 300. Pilot is at 27.5 and stock needle from 2 to 3 clip. Elevation. 1000ft -3000 ft. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. I had to compare the pilots side by side to see the clog.
  3. Also this time I got a new air box and am not using the lid like before. 27.5 pilots needle 2nd clip and mains are 280. Ran great before except better now on top end. I normally ride at el mirage which is 2000 feet higher. Anyone think I should rejett. I'm currently at 900 ft here but can't ride down here. 300 mains? Or too rich at that altitude.
  4. So do you think it's smoking less because it was more warmed up. Rides better off the bottom now. Easy to take off without any sutter.
  5. So I got my banshee dialed with 27.5 pilot. Also carb synced the carbs with the sync tool. Question I have is while I was doing the sync the banshee was smoking a decent amount. Once I put my airbox and filter back in it smoked less. Shouldn't it be richer once they went back on or am I reversed.
  6. Had the same issue with mine. Except right cylinder. Turn on your choke and see if more smokes comes out. If it does. Check your pilot jets. I cleaned mine 3 times and still had the same problems. Left cylinder would smoke more and right would not and stay cold until I went past half throttle. Would also misfire. Decided to buy bigger pilots went to 27.5s. After taking the carbs apart again to install them I check the stock pilots side by side to reference the hole sizes. Sure enough the right pilot was smaller and clogged up. I put in the 27s anyways and now they are both even. Synced and bottom is more more responsive.
  7. Yeah I've seen other posts where there was no final solution. I'm really happy it's running this good considering. I got a good deal on this used banshee.
  8. Fixed the problem. Went up in pilot jets but when I was cleaning the original pilots (25) I could see through both of them but this time I put them side by side. Right cylinder pilot hole was much smaller. After I out in the 27s both cylinder run great. Carbs synced and better bottom. Should have compared them the first time instead of looking at each one separately.

  10. Same exact problem I had. After low throttle mine would come back alive. Less smoke on my right cylinder. Ended up being clogged pilot jet even after I clean them 3 times. Went up one size.
  11. Is changing the clutch pretty simple. Drain oil and coolant. Take off clutch cover and springs. Put new plates in same way they came out? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. 2002 stock except for pipes. It's not slipping yet but I plan in a top end soon and was going to do clutch at same time. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. I see the heavy duty kit is for $65 and it has the springs friction and steel plates. Will I need anything else? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. I was just looking at Driveline. Price is about half of stock. How does it compare?
  15. Its almost time for a new clutch. 2002 still on stock clutch. Any suggestions?
