  1. Right......get some custom mounts, so you can put the wrong pipes on a motor. That way you can loose power but look tricked out while you do it. BB pipes are not even close to the right pipe for a Serval. Just because you can make something fit.....doesn't mean you should.
  2. Trinity parts are like owning the video tape from the movie "The Ring". If you can pass it off to someone else.....you just might survive.
  3. Just sell them and get new ones. It'll be way cheaper than paying multiple shipping costs to re-do what you have.
  4. You will too.......just wait.
  5. It wouldn't be a proper dune trip if you weren't up the night before the trip spinning wrenches.
  6. Your bike is going to run like shit till it blows up....just because you touched that Trinity Voo Doo plate. It was laying on the ground where you found it for a reason. The last owner was ridding himself of the bad karma. Now you got it. Trinity - That's the name of an ATV Viris that's immune to any treatment other than amputation.
  7. Call in sick.......dune fever. I hear it's going around.
  8. Big bore Shearers would be Galacticly oversized for you motor and would be a very bad choice. If you read all the posts about this motor and your pipe choices...you'll find (after sifting through all the drama) that you have SB Shearers or PC pipes as the best choice so far.
  9. Don't start it till you the very least get some custom cut domes for it. (Call Titan Racing) Or send the whole thing to a builder who has worked with the Power Valve motors. Ignore the existence of Trinity in this universe.....you weren't personally violated at this point, so don't give them the chance. Sorry,my bad. Too many destroyed 72mm and 73.5 mm pistons over the years to remember that my original "400 Cheetah" had the smaller pistons. Whatever head he uses.........the domes better not be from Trinity. Besides, if all he has is a crank and a head shell......he should really think hard about that motor choice.
  10. So who's in for sure? I've got 6 people total going in my group. Staying at Silver Lake Resort and Campground.
  11. No I think they want Matt to Feel like he's got some competition so he'll re-design his pipes. I don't see masses of people buying these Snippy pipes. But they sure think that bitching about BB pipes not fitting on 421-465 motors will shake Matt up. But listen, all this posting of pics of guys and other guys commenting on looks is getting a little gay. (Even for a Sniper post) Maybe you could try taking some pics while your standing next to a naked girl. I'm not picky........it doesn't even have to be your girl. (Just...no goats.) If we're going to turn the Snippy post into the "Random Picture Post".....Well....I like you Chuy....but I sure don't want to see anyone start commenting on who's getting tickled by your beard and where. So before it all goes down that path.........
  12. Come on Radar.....you should know that the letters PV at the end of the title imply the Power Valved Cheetah. The cub is the little brother to the motor he's talking about and not only does a standard head not work on the Full Cheetah (Due to it's 72+ bore) But they are using a DM head on the Cheetah.
  13. Great....now we've slipped into somebody's Facebook page.
  14. You can buy the blank slides and shape them or re-engineer them to your liking.
  15. See Nick, your passing on the knowledge. (Makes me proud.) X2 on Nicks comments. His motor is running great now that we got the Trinity fingerprints off of it. (95HP!) NOTE: Trinity isn't the only place you can get a P.V. motor from....they no longer have the exclusive rights to the design. F.A.S.T did Nick's and I have to say they did a pretty good job. It's not blowing O-rings like a Trinity build and it's not making the 68HP that the original Trinity build made. So he's happy. Trinity - Good to see all you fellow members passing on the warnings.
  16. How did the shot box post get moved to the Shearer or Sniper thread?
  17. No, but they have a higher Resale value.
  18. Buy a nice fresh brand new one in Chrome from Cascade Innovations.
  19. Or maybe at the party he was just a mean drunk.
  20. St. joe MO Silver lake MI Little Sahara OK
  21. Well as usual the weather men can't predict what it's going to do on Saturday even if it's already Saturday morning. (How can they claim to predict global warming if they can't even get a weekend forecast correct?) Well 2 of my friends and I went and had a blast! We have always gone in the fall when they had the winter hours (9-5) but they were still on summer hours (9-7) So we got ALOT of riding in. It was very dusty because the rain they predicted for friday night never happened. (My outerwear's look like they are made of clay) It was hot. I drank 8 - 20 oz. Gatorades and 5 - 16 oz. waters. But we rode the whole place and burnt thru 6 gallons of fuel. There was a nice breeze that saved us from becoming human jerky. but keeping the bikes moving was the best way to stay cool. My #1 passion is riding the dunes....but The Badlands is a very close second. I've got 2 more dune trips to Silver Lake planned, but I'm going to make at least one more trip to The Badlands later this fall.... I'm thinking October. Has anyone picked a date for an HQ ride there yet? I'm thinking an early October date would be good.......Give it a chance to cool down and let the leaves fall off the trees so you can see the trails clearly. (Less chances of climbing a hill that someone is already coming down.)
  22. We're running FMF Fatty's on the 2 into 1 bikes.
