  1. Anyone who goes......remind me when you see me.....I've got a spare set of the V4's on me that I can let you look at if your interested.
  2. Oh I'm all in for tomorrow. They have had plenty of rain thru out the week so dust shouldn't be a big factor. (3of us went about a month ago and if you were the third guy in the group, you were riding blind in a dust cloud.) So with the ground damp and the air cool.....I think conditions will be ideal. I'll be driving a burgandy 96 chevy 1/2 ton crewcab that's lowered and running 20's. I'm towing a red open trailer with 2 Banshees, a Raptor 700 and a Polaris Outlaw 525. I should be there right as they open, or shortly after. We plan to be there for the FULL DAY So.....head count...who's in? I got 4 people.
  3. X2 I'm sure there is some theory that he's following in running a 16-47......but as far as I can see, it's just 8 more links of chain that are adding to the friction of the chain moving and meshing as well as that much more rotating weight the motor is having to fling in a circle. Not to mention less ground clearance....... But it's a free world.
  4. 100LL AV gas has the same octane and VP 100 if they were to rate AV gas the same way they rate auto fuel. You can usually swap back and forth from AV to VP110 without even needing a jet change. If you can get AV gas, use it! It has more lead than the race gas and that is a better lubricant and protective properties. Plus it's cheaper.
  5. Yep. Plus a 41 or 44 tooth will fit with a skidplate A 47 will rub and if anything gets between skidplate and chain.....instant jam.
  6. JESUS CHRIST!!! I could clean your carbs and give you a full dyno tune and you wouldn't spend $250!! Is that what you paid craigslist boy?
  7. LMFAO!!!! Only good answer. X2!
  8. Did you read what I posted???? If you think you need a 47 rear....the problem is you went one tooth BIGGER on the front. 14-44is the same as 15-47! If you need more torque than that....you need a fresh top end. Or it's time to start building a strong 4mill LOL
  9. Depending on the tune, you can be way off. Did they tune the the new set-up? "Nickisgod" showed up at our dyno with his 485 cheetah and pulled 78.....but he left making 95. I would think that super cub would be WAY off if it had the wrong crank. I don't think you would see 185 compression.....
  10. You run alky right? Gotta point that out when you drop a number....
  11. Yeah, I've got the dune editions on my bike. They are awesome! So if you didn't have them built for you....follow the install directions, then call them and they can tell you set the compression and rebound just right for your weight and the bikes set-up. (You'll be within a click or two of perfect if you do.) Then just lean back and pin that throttle and you can take on just about any whoops you'll run across.
  12. No reason to run that big of a rear. 47-15 That's a 3.13 ratio You could go with a 44-14 and have a 3.14 ratio. It's virtually the same thing and you won't have such low ground clearance and no skid plate issues.
  13. Looks like they will get some rain early this week. That should work in our favor to keep the dust down for Saturday.
  14. Nick! Are you kidding me? You just finally got all the Trinity bad voodoo out of that motor, got all fresh parts from the crank on up and we got it dyno'd making a solid 95HP and now your parting that whole amazing machine out. I don't even get a heads up about it? Good grief.....this bike has every top dollar part and option you could want on a Banshee. It's the perfect bike "As is" in a complete package and now it's getting scattered in the wind? Sad day Bro. Nick did everything right with this bike. (Eventually) LOL It was a real head turner. Some of you PA Coal hill climbers ought to think about jumping on that motor. He's got the 4 mill 485 cheetah with power valves! Fresh off the dyno. Damnit Nick.....you better call me. Otherwise I'm going to end up typing another one of my novels......... Heart broken and disgusted. I understand your situation.........................................but the Banshee lover in me is just mind blown and in disbelief.
  15. Kind of makes me worry...when after your joke your signature says "It ain't braggin when you can back it up.
  16. I seems like he might have agreed with something I said..... But he did say it first.......so I guess I'm in the clear.
  17. Who's the Bad Ass?.... http://onemoretimewithfeeling.tumblr.com/post/23643205828/fucking-goats-man
  18. From Idaho ?!!!!!
  19. Should be a fun filled time.............it's customer appreciation day! Check this out.... http://www.badlandsoffroad.com/?do=plugin&id=2&event_id=709
  20. Well the dunes season is fading out and that cool crisp air just has me in The Badlands frame of mind. A few guys have taken off work to make sure they can get some time in at The Badlands before winter rolls in, so we are planning to go ride Saturday October 6th (2 weeks from now) Any and all are welcome to join in. We can ride together, or just meet up from time to time and swap stories. But I thought I'd post the date so if you wanted to try to plan to go, you had time. If your thinking of going, just post here and let everyone know.
  21. Yep. They need more fuel from the pilot. Going up one size usually gets them perfect. Main jetting might not need to change (Depending on the size and power of the motor) But in most cases, just going up one size for the pilot and keeping the main the same will have you close enough to air screw the final tune. Hope that helps....
  22. Go with your gut and call Cam .......you'll save yourself a ton of trouble and money. These motors need to be right....or they end up costing you a ton.
  23. Well they called for nasty weather....and in the morning the radar showed reds and yellows over in Milwaukee so I was expecting we were going to be wet all day.......but other than a few little sprinkles 3-4 times over the day....it was blue skies and a strong breeze all day on Saturday. Sorry you didn't get those parts correctly. We missed ya. There is a 25% chance we might do a Silver Lake October trip....but it will be real "Last Minute." (Right now.....It's BADLANDS SEASON!!!!) So if your interested in either....be ready.
  24. If you're real lean at WOT...at around 10,000RPM you might hit 1400 degrees. Then the pistons will flow out the tailpipe like liquid and the motor will lock up. Maybe you better be more specific about your question.
