  1. Bad gas. A friend bought some premium from BP. Truns out not a lot of people are buying premium. It must be sitting in the ground for a long time because the gas was bad after just a week of sitting in his tank. Try some fresh gas before your get too wrapped up in the other stuff.
  2. Wife and I - Sierra Sands Hotel. (Since the Silver Lake Campground and Resort is sold out.) We'll be chillin' in the hot tub after a long days ride.
  3. For what it's worth.....I went from BB CPI's to BB Shearers and saw a 14HP difference (same day tests back to back) and the Shearer front side curve matched the CPI's. so THAT I won't disagree with. BUT......Nickisgod has a 485 that is totally done up and hit 95HP.......On our dyno. (Ours has been calibrated 3 times and has all the latest software updates. It doesn't read high or low...it reads correctly.) So I'm not going to believe that a 421 Trinity motor will hit 99. The 472 Harry sent me only ran 92HP according to Trinity's dyno. And yes...your asking way too much for that blown up bike. Part it and move on.
  4. I saw the word Trinity in there somewhere.......of yeah...the little glass ball. Ditch that while your in there adjusting things and replace it with a pancake bearing. Then inspect the pointer as well as the condition of the shifter arm/cam and see if you see any issues there. But ditch the Trinity parts. They carry 2-stroke V.D. You don't want it to spread.
  5. Yeah I love the look of all the warning stickers and the metal fender struts. No seriously......get out the tools and start cutting. Tape out a shape you like first. Then get busy hacking "The 80's" off that rig.
  6. Yeah....This I'd like to see.
  7. can you win trophies and drag race well with bald tires?
  8. If he paid top retail list prices for everything including the original Banshee, paid to have them shipped to Canada and back, paid Chicago's huge state sales tax, and had ride gear custom tailored to fit him.........He still wouldn't hit the $24876 he claims to have spent on just the aftermarket stuff.
  9. I didn't read the post.......I just saw DG in the humor section and figured that was funny enough. Any post about DG pipes belongs here.
  10. No. Your cushions are shot.
  11. You will not. Turbine cores aren't that much money and they really don't rob power, just get a pair and then you won't have to monkey with anything.
  12. I stopped reading when I got to the "Motor Re-Done by Trinity"
  13. Bike looks great in person Cam. The cases really set it off well. (We got the motor up to 95HP now so it rips too!) No more 65HP Trinity kit crap.
  14. Yep. We set them up at 13:1 for sand and they are nice and safe. A dyno with an A/F sniffer is the only way to go. Plus it gives you a chance to get the pilot/main/needle/air screw dialed in correctly, as well as find the timing your motor likes.
  15. Come on out to our dyno in Elburn (just west of Geneva and St.Charles. 38 and 47) and get it dialed in before you go so you don't burn it down in the sand. (See Nickisgod's dyno post in the dyno section.) He drove out from NY to get dialed in for his trip. He was Thrilled. you will be too.
  16. Well good....... your learning. Now the next time you see a big mud pit, just don't go all "Sub Commander" on the thing and you'll be fine.
  17. So it sounds like your going to follow up ONE "lapse in judgement" with a SERIES of them. It would be a quick tear down to get the motor stripped of the top end and then flush the bottom end with cans of brake cleaner. Then a simple hone and fresh rings at the least. Maybe a new set of pistons. But if you would rather pull the motor and do a 1/2 assed job at a cleaning....then end up blowing the whole thing....it's your machine. Who knows...if it frags hard enough, you might even end up having to get some new cases with that new 4 mill build. Is that a piece of stone sitting in your intake? How the heck does THAT get there?
  18. You want more power to the ground?.....ditch those heavy 4-stroke style rims.
  19. The banshee frame has an asymmetrical offset. Front and rear tires line up on the clutch side. But the stator side front is in farther than it looks like it should be.
  20. My refrigerator in the garage is sponsored by EVERYBODY! (Well....not Trinity.) Goo-Gone took care of that.
  21. Here is a free tip.......you don't have to cum in her EVERY TIME.
  22. 13 second car? Post back when you figure out how to stage using your heal on the brake and the tip of your toe on the gas. I thought I was going to see a driving video....not dancing with the stars.
  23. Not everything you want to say can be expressed on a T-shirt. Besides I didn't go on a rant. I just responded in sentence form to statements once. Jokes over son. Try getting some new material. Your snaps are really stale.
  24. So we're entering into the week of the June22-23-24 trip. I'm hitting the dragstrip on Friday for the test and tune for sure. (I wanna get some baseline numbers on the new REDLINE 10 mill cub.) Looking to check and see who was thinking of coming riding this weekend. Anybody up for a ride?
  25. VP U4.4 will spice things up a bit!
