Take the foot guards off and clean it up, its probably just in need of some carb cleaning, I'd give a grand for it easily if I was looking again.

Lost my crossover tube, whats a temporary repair?
dragbanshee replied to blaster2006's topic in General Banshee Discussion
No matter what, you still need to get the carbs in sync, tube or not! Eyeball it the best you can and listen to the slides bottoming out. Should hear 1 clank, not 2. -
does this seem like a good deal

Nice find, the T5s are great for trails with the right mods. Hit me up if you decide to get rid of the drag ported juggs. -
Welcome, Nice toys!! Yep, this is the right place.

Sounds real good! Mine smokes like a freight train when its cold, hardly any smoke after its warm.

Honda 250r motor ***SOLD***
dragbanshee replied to pabansheematt's topic in For Sale - Non Banshee Related
Wish I had the cash, I would love to build a 250r with the new 400 frame. Good Luck! -
If their made to fit the banshee, they should be 14 1/2 - 14 3/4

Looking to buy my first Banshee...
dragbanshee replied to davidson199's topic in General Banshee Discussion
No problems, really! Actually its an honor for us banshee owners. People are always trying to measure up what they have, with the banshee. Sooo many times you see a seller posting like "this will smoke a banshee" or "this is a banshee eater" huh, I take this as a compliment!! Problems? Not unless you ignore maintenance, get a banshee and be proud! The year is not so much a determining factor, its whats done to it. Good Luck! and Welcome! -
Custom taillight cover by JD, Thanks man!

That would be sooo cool to be street legal. I would go in a completely different direction with the looks of mine, it would be totally chromed, polished and built to the max for sure. Be fun to run some street bikes, Ahhh' I can see it now!

Excactly! You were WARNED!!! -
I think he really liked the +2, but coming from a stocker, who wouldn't! I have the +4 and I really like it, but for trails and flat track I would prefer a +2. Anything else I'll keep my +4.

PICKED UP A 2006 BANSHEE FOR FREE
dragbanshee replied to EF2.0's topic in General Banshee Discussion
Yep thats the best way to get to know ur bike, build it urself. Nice find, Congrats!! and welcome to the HQ. -
Hey welcome to the crowd! Looks like you got ya a nice 1st bike, as for the smoke, I would worry more about it smoking so much more out the right side. Have you done a compression check on it yet? Its always a good idea to do one when you get a two stroke, mainly to see what ur workin with and if ur having any other troubles with it. Well any ways, we're glad to have you, and this is the right place for all ur banshee needs. Check out the sponsors, if the HQ doesn't have it, they can find it.

Thats cool! Im glad you had fun with it.

Maybe carbparts warehouse 1 216 635-1099 Good luck!

I have the oko's and love em, the fuel inlet does suck being smaller. I just thought that was a standard size for the PWK's, so is the fuel inlet different on the oko's and the PWK's? If so thats the only downfall!!
-
Welcome dude! I hear ya on the polished parts, sure looks good, but I have had my share too. Thats why my bike is non shine. Good Luck with it!

More FUN in the sun!! Nice!

Stellar Machine and Performance Raffle
dragbanshee replied to locogato11283's topic in General Banshee Discussion
Good job on the raffle video Loco, that was good thinkin, and the shaking, oh yea that was too. -
Done all that, but if I had to do over again, I would leave one or the other off. Shifts too easy, actually I would leave the easy spring off, with the modified shift star, it takes no effort to roll over the lobes. Jeff at fast told me it wasn't necassary to run both, but I did and regret it now. No big deal, just when I get back in there for what ever reason I'll put the regular spring back on. Your call! not expensive or hard to do.

I know this isn't really in the right place, but when I placed it in the swap & trade it doesn't show up on the main page. I still don't like this new setup as well. Just kind of ready for something different, still love it, but ready for change. This is of course only if I can trade for something worth it to me, and that you guys don't boot me for not owning. If I trade for a bike it would have to be a 900 or up sport bike, mustang, camaro, or ??? try me. Im in Avon, Indiana, close to Indy so you prolly want to be pretty local. The bike runs great, good compression, fires 1st or 2nd kick every time guaranteed!! I have had the bike since early 2007 and was bone stock when I got it. It was in good shape, but you know how it is, just can't leave em a lone, pretty much all new. 97" black plastics with inframe drag CPI's ,vforce 3 reeds, 30mm OKO carbs K&N pods, Noss cool head 21cc domes,+4 swinger, wicked +2 up 1 arms, works tripple rate with rezzy's, adjustable timing plate +4, ITP wheels with razors, new polished RDZ chain tensioner, new chain, sprockets, case saver, carrier bearings, needle bearings, asv clutch lever, new clutch and all new housing, modified shift star, easy spring, new modified shift shaft, stainless braided brake lines front & rear, polished lazer star lights, custom tail light cover, tether/kill cord. I think thats about it, it has 150 psi each cylinder with the 21cc domes, Stock stroke and bore....PM if interested, and Im only interested in trades. 1st pic is a current one, wasn't real clean, well you get the picture!
