  1. Do you have the wheels still? And the 50 dollars is that for a pair or what is the package. I just ran over a nail today and I wanna have piece of mind on my next ride out.
  2. Pics of other colored frames.
  3. Seriously I need those spacers as well. I have been sitting on arms and shocks for over a year. If I can't get these spacers soon I am gonna sell them and go aftermarket and pay the extra.
  4. I bought my Shee from the original owner and all I had was Bill of Sale. As far as I know NJ doesn't title atvs. Bill of sale is all that is needed for registration.
  5. Is this a dead thread or what? I hope I didn't resurrect something from way back. I recall speaking to the OP last fall about needing this stuff, and he wasn't able to get on it due to his schedule but now I need the parts. Anyone have some for sale?
  6. What about the jugs? Are you rebuilding this bike for yourself or are you parting it out? I would like to have a spare set of jugs to send out for porting without having my bike down.
  7. Yea if you ever wanna chat hit me up via aim JDMThoughts is my username. Just trying to get back into the swing of things riding and whatnot.
  8. Too bad my bike is blue already or I would take them off your hands since I am located approx. 1 hour from piscataway.
  9. I ordered my setup from FAST. Came with everything I needed.
  10. I also need them as well. I would like to do the YFZ brake swap as well. Have you approached that aspect of it, I believe the hubs need to be swapped out, so how would that affect the tie rod issue. I spoke to you a while back but you were busy with a fire training thing if my memory serves me right. Get back to me asap.
  11. Wow those are all very great. I think mine is preventative maintenence. My buddies hate doing maintenence on my bikes, but until they get their own and have their own stuff to abuse they need to respect mine. I have friends who think I over-maintenence my bike. Like fresh plugs every so often, oil changes within 20 hours, lubing chains before every ride, and cleaning air filters. Those last two I have yet to see any of my buddies do. And washing bikes, well lets not even go there. I also hear stories about how badass their other bike is at home... if you have a super bad ass bike at home why aren't you riding it??? I love the strangers who pull over in front of my house to check out my rides, I had a dude stop by and I was in the back yard pulling a bike out and he was touching my shit.... like hello fuckface, last time I checked that was my bike, what the fuck are you doing to my bike. I don't mind people looking at my bike, I do mind people touching it.
  12. Well he needs to get his bike fixed before it goes down, but I will still give it a go, I think I will get a real good launch on him and hopefully I can beat him to the line. I guess I would need porting and reeds, and domes to beat him. oh well it will be fun anyways, I would expect most dirtbikes to romp a quad, do to the lighter weight and higher power figures, but we'll see.
  13. Well a few of my friends went out today and we met a shitload of people out and have a nice group riding around. 2 Shees, 1 400EX, LTZ 400, LTR 450, 300EX, 700 Raptor, 350 Raptor. Well to get things going I started the racing and fucked my friends up who were riding my other bike the 400EX. Since I piped and jetted the bike along with filter the thing pulls sooo hard. Then I took out the 300 and the Raptor 350. Some guy came around on the other shee but wasn't interested in racing, which was cool. it's not for everyone, but to my biggest surprise I raced a new 08 LTR and trashed him, I even raced him again and gave him a bike length and roll and still stomped him good. it definitely made me feel good being king of the hill for the day. My buddy has a KX250 that he swears will beat my Banshee, I think I have a better chance than he realizes. Anyone have any info on what it would take to beat a run of the mill KX 250. Just figured I would share my 5 hour riding quest and the good representation of the Banshee taking names as usual.
  14. I am actually going to go back to my old hometown in a week and check out the trails from when I was a kid, and if it's all good still I am gonna trek up there from time to time and spend the weekend riding.
  15. You should design your own, take some sketches to a vinyl place and have them made up, couldn't be anymore expensive and you would have a totally one off bike.
  16. I had a place locally powdercoat my valve cover and intake system on my car and it came out really nice. The price was reasonable too. I know they are located on RT. 9 in Mayetta, across the street from a machine shop... I.D.M. Speed Machine. I can't recall the name but if you call I.D.M. they can give you the number for across the street. I think the name was Sign Pro. Not 100% correct though. I don't know if they do re-chroming, but as far as powdercoat they did a good job. Also you might wanna check on atvriders.com and talk to Pappy, he does a lot of powdercoating and is reasonable on pricing in my book, he even has a portfolio online of his work with plenty of vouches. Hopefully this helps you out. If it's any help I am going to be sending Pappy a frame or two in the near future.
  17. Actually the power is nice, and even using the Toomey needles it still pulls very hard and there is no glitch in it at all. I did the Toomey 2:1 filter but I have an EHS air lid that I purchased for the stock airbox so I am unsure of which intake system I want to go with. Power is nice, I was actually expecting more to be honest. I guess the next mods will get me to where I wanna be.
  18. So upon re-installing my carbs I accidentally got the crankcase ventilation tube pinched in the boot carb connection which was not allowing the ventilation to happen causing the crankcase to buildup even higher. It sucks I had to bring it somewhere to find something so silly on my behalf. Oh well. Case closed, tomorrow I get my bike back and can get out there and start ripping again.
  19. Well my TORS removal items and my Cascade parts are in, so I am going to drop my bike off and let my local shop go over it and let me know whats going on. I lost two weeks of practice for a race this weekend trying to get this bike fixed, oh well, I will post up when I get the bike back and find out what the issue was.
  20. I can eliminate coolant because the fluid coming out isn't green, which is the color of my coolant. This tube is like a crankcase breather tube, it runs the whole length of the bike and has a t-fitting by the carbs, one splits off and runs to the right side case and the other goes to the back of the crankcase where the top shock mount is. I am not sure why there is such a high pressure buildup now that the fluid will travel the whole length of the bike on an uphill to spew out. My local atv shop initially thought top end, but the bike starts, runs and moves fine besides the slight jetting issue. They then said a possible crank case main seal... but I have a hard time believing that a bike with less than 40hours on it total can be wearing out already. I just received my TORS removal kit so I am waiting on a few other parts and then I will give it another stab at it. If you have any other suggestions let me know. I am completely out of ideas.
  21. Would reqular oil dissolve and breakdown and wash away, it would normally stain the surface it's on though. Other than that I am stumped, not sure what the real issue is.
  22. Yes the hose is black, I have that connected to the back of of the case and the other goes to the right side case, then I have one that goes all the way up the front of the bike and and weaves its way across the frame and was factory tied to the frame it appears, but it spews out fluid. I believe the fluid is brake fluid because the bike puked all over the patio and I poured water on it and it began to dissolve and wash away. I also checked my coolant and that is green. So I have pretty much eliminated coolant as being a fluid. Still leaning towards brake fluid. I guess I will give it a shot tomorrow otherwise I am bringing it to the local shop, they usually help me out and answer all my questions no problem.
  23. Ok so after disassembling the the front plastics and gas tank again, I pull the mystery line out and it runs to the middle of rats nest of lines and wires and come to a t-fitting. The one side of the T-fitting goes to the right side case. The other goes straight back and goes into what would be the rear side of the motor right before the top rear shock mount. Any ideas on where this mystery tube goes? I can't find anything in the manual that shows this and after my third headache from this I am just about ready to bring it in to the local shop.
  24. Good, glad you got your bike up and going. Now if only I can figure out my woes. Do you need upgraded pilots with the addition of reeds. I believe in the jet kit from Toomey they say the stock pilots are all you need, at least that is what I have on mine, but I am using toomey needles with the clips in the wrong position so I am hoping that will clear up my issues, that and this mystery tube that is leaking.
  25. Yea I am going to get the fluid leak fixed, which I believe is a coolant line after looking through my manual at picture diagrams all morning. Maybe the powerband will be much better after I make the changes with the needles and get the clips in the right position. It's not that the bike doesn't haul, it does, but I feel a slight hesitation and stumble. I am probably going to look into a set of Paul Turners and probably pick them up.
