  1. I'll do 200 shipped. That is even cheaper than what you just offered me, I need the money for christmas gifts so I will take a bigger loss on it now. PM me if your still interested.
  2. Your going to have to do better than that. I eat the paypal fees. It is going to cost about 20-25 to ship. I paid a whole lot more for these than I am selling them. I don't need to really get rid of these for a firesale price. Raise your offer some and maybe we can work something out.
  3. Back to the top.... accepting reasonable offers
  4. Buyer backed out..... still for sale. Will throw in YFZ arms in special edition flat black for another 200.
  5. I could use a grill for my bike on top of the money..... pm me so we can work out the details.
  6. Bump for a fellow competitive seller trying to move these shocks, just like me. They are super easy to put on a banshee, require very very very little mods to put them on. There is many threads in the suspension forum that discuss the different ways to do it. Excellent upgrade over the crappy stock ones.
  7. Someone make me a reasonable offer, before I throw them up on Fleabay.
  8. Thanks let me edit my original post, I knew there was a difference in the years, I just didn't know when that occurance took place.
  9. Don't be scared to make offers either. Not really sure what the going rate is, I know I paid 300 for the when I got them, but regardless. Asking 225. Rebound and compression adjustable shocks in amazing shape....
  10. Forgot since the rules state must have a price, the price is 225.
  11. I have a set of hardly used YFZ450 anniversary shocks. They are of the limited edition variety so they have the extra adjustments. I decided I don't wanna do the 450 front end so I am selling the shocks, I will post up the Limited Edition A-arms I have in flat black as soon as I sort through the garage and find the box I put them in. For now these are up. I am located in southern NJ near LBI. If someone wants to meetup I am more than willing as long as its no more than 30 miles away. Shipping is possible but it will be at the buyers expense, in which I will take the shocks to my shipper along with the potential buyers address and get an exact shipping quote. Paypal fees don't need to be added either. With that said, here's a pic.
  12. I agree with what has been said by both previous posters. I just wanna ask you this, what did you think was going to happen when you went and had a drag/dune port done to a bike that is gonna be in the woods? Along with adding those carbs to the mix as well.
  13. Oil dripping out your exhaust can't be good. When was the last time your repacked your mufflers?? You should do that every 4-6 rides. It quiets the bike and restores power.
  14. I have the Vforce3s, I can attest to me advancing my ignition timing +4 and the reeds to making my motor come alive. The reeds definitely increase the throttle response. Where is your jetting at? I have mine setup to Toomeys specs, even using the Toomey needles which I would like to switch out in the future for the OEM needles. I only have to make adjustments to the air-fuel screw on my bike to usually fix any jetting issues. I only ride the bike spring through summer, so the weather doesn't really make me need to do rejets with all the seasons.
  15. The stocker is pretty well rounded. I ride trails and drag for fun sometimes, and when I bought my Shee stock, it was average at best, very easy to handle and the power wasn't violent. The problem is most of the upgrades that are done to these motors increase horsepower greatly, and these bikes aren't overloaded with torque to begin with. I would use the Paul Turner Mids if you want a mid range, have a set of jugs setup with a woods port and do a 28mm pwk conversion. A lot of guys like the 2:1 carbs, I personally don't. I went the route of the T5 pipes and the power comes on similiar to a turbocharged car, I have to wait for it, but when the bike gets on the pipes it's out. Much more of a top end pipe, and hence the reason I am looking to make the switch to something to get the mid range back. Just don't try to expect this bike to behave like a four-stroke. It's nothing like any other quad out there, it's way more powerful than the competition and if your gonna try to make this into an agile bike for the woods. Remember the chassis is very old and outdated and usually not the most ideal when it comes to agility.
  16. There are no silencers to be offered with this? Interested for sure.
  17. That might not be the case. Depending on what style or riding you should dictate what kind of porting you should get. Also it would be in your best interest to ask the engine builder/porter what types of pipes will best benifit your setup.
  18. I have a different style set that I bought from cascade... they worked out very well and have a nice bling to them. Jbooker nice setup, looks very clean.
  19. T5s are a good choice. While your at it maybe you might wanna get a timing plate. I have T5s, timing key, K&N, with VF3s and I absolutely love my bike. I am going to wait for the first rebuild to port it. But if you want porting in your future, stay with the T5s.
