Generally stock cylinder motors afe run between 4-6 degrees. You'll just have to play with it and see where it likes it best. If your crank is welded, then I wouldn't worry about adding a little compression. I usually run around 180psi without issues. Be sure to run the correct amount of octane woth higher compression and more timing.

A more affordable bolt on upgrade would be a timing plate. You can pick up a timing plate for less than $50 bucks usually. For your mods I would set it at plus 4 or 5 and call it good.

Hahaha... Well last summer I ran a drag ported 10mil cub on a -1 swinger in the trails. It was an absolute blast. In fact it was so fun, I'm currently building a 10mil serval for my trail bike as we speak. Go 10mil or go home!

Roll with a Gforce! I bent a Durablue and switched over to Gforce and never looked back. The only thing about the Gforce that I wasn't completely happy with, is the chrome finish. Given, it is a trail bike, the chrome didn't seem to last to long. It still looked good, but not great. Either way, I would go with another Gforce again, and again.

Brand new cables should be lubed before you even put them on.

I've got a set of Ohlins all the way around on my bike. They are the Preload, Compression and Rebound adjustable shocks. So far I think they are every bit as good as the stage 3 Elkas that I previously had. If someone is looking for some good shocks, I would consider these without hesitation. What model are your shocks and how are they setup? IE: what rider weight, arm length, and adjustability?

Is this the same company that was offering the "extreme" overrides? I can't remember what company it was for sure, but someone was selling extremes that were supposed to be able to take any abuse you could throw at it. I'm not sure if they ever got them working correctly or not?

In that picture the setup was +2+1 arms out front and the swing arm was a stock swinger that we cut down to a -1.
