  4. i am not 100 percent sure what they are set up for as far as weight as i bought them used he claimed they were set up for 175 lbs. they are stock length and they just have the one adjuster so i believe they are pre load only but i will have to check i havent looked at the quad for a while i have to get it dug out of the shed when the snow quits flying here
  5. Hi i Sold my banshee this weekend and i took off the front suspension that i had on it. they are a set of ohlins i will post some pics up tomorrow but just checking interest and seeing what they are worth, since i have low history on this site i will probably be putting them on ebay unless someone has a good offer just need a clue what they are worth Thanks
  6. mine did the same thing so what i did was take a small zip tie and went around the brass part and made it tight enough so that i could pull the choke out and slide it over the brass to the carb and it will hold it out
  7. the motor is nothing to drastic that i know of i bought it used but i know its bored out bigger idk about porting or anything like that but it is still running the stock carbs with pipes and mods like that it just seems like that thing uses fuel like its going out of style but ill just have to try it and see what i can do with a tank
  8. hey i am planning on doing the next hare scramble that the local track is having and its an hour long race but my only concern is taht i dont think i can make it for an hour without haveing to refuel. i am new to scrambles and was wondering how that all works and what do you guys think about being able to make it that far on one tank
  9. i just got some off ebay they were only like 25 bucks or something like that and you could get them in any color that you wanted to and they are holding up pretty good with riding and washing it
  10. would you be interested in selling the rear shock and i could send ya my stocker and some cash Thanks
  11. hey do you have the mount kits for the resivors with it
  12. ok i know the jets are clean iv gone thru the carbs ill adjust them in and see if that helps it and if that doesnt help ill get some jets picked up for it
  13. hey i have an 01 banshee and i bought it with a bad trans and fixed all that and the only problem that i have is if i let the banshee sit for a few days or anytime i try to start it when the engine is cold, it wont start if i have a buddy push it ten feet or less and let the clutch out it will fire right up and run and idle and everything the kick starter just wont start it. carbs are clean, good spark, good compression, jetting seems correct looking at the plugs and it runs correctly when it warms up. im just kinda lost with it and its pissing me off i have worked on bikes and quads for 6+ years and have went to school for it and all that but idk what to do to make it start easier, i was wondering if running a higher compression ratio is whats making it harder to start and if i got an adjustable timing plate would maybe help it start a little better thanks
  14. hey i just got a set of new front shocks for my banshee and was wondering what i should do with the rear there isnt that terribly much stuff out there and would like to get something a little better then the stock one. i was wondering if i should just re valve this shock or if i should just wait until i can find a good after market shock for a decent price thanks
  15. just got them bought 275 and my stockers will pick them up tommorow hopefully can get it back together for the weekend and test them out iv never ridden a quad with aftermarket suspension and from what i hear it helps tons
