Heres a story from experience, take it or leave it... I ride trails and race about 50/50. Which sounds pretty close to what you do. I had a set of dune ported cylinders that ripped pretty hard, but decided to give a cub a try. I sold the dune cylinders, bought the cub and hated that thing. I ran the cub for about 6 weeks, sold it, and now I'm building a 4mil stock cylinder dune dune motor. For the trail riding, your going to be dissapointed with a cub... Sounds like maybe you should explore your 4mil options.
