  1. Hell of a good deal on some nice shocks! Those fronts three way adjustable. Can't see the rear shock in the picture, is it the same?
  2. No worries there, Loco is looking for some strange weiner.
  3. I guess it depends on the person. I wouldn't hesitate buying a built bike if I knew all the specs on it, ie: builder, portwork, internal componets. etc.. Even if you buy a built bike your still going to want to add something to it to make it your own. At the very least I would buy something that already has good suspension on it. Buying good quality shocks and a arms from scratch will cost you some serious $$$$$.
  4. I had to bend my brake lever out and up quite a bit to get it to fit. I'm running a stock steel brake lever though, it was easy to bend into shape.
  5. Yep, it can get a little tricky putting it back together though. Every time I've done it like that I've had to fight with the transmission lining up correctly putting it back together.
  6. Mix it in your gas can before you put it in the bike. I mix mine at 40:1 because it does an even 10 gallons.
  7. You can spend a little money on the engine you have and make it pretty quick. Your question is kinda vague. What kind of terrain will you be dragging on? How long is the drag strip? Whats the competition like in your area?
  8. you will murder that blaster
  9. Not hard at all. All you need is an angle grinder and some loc-tite.
  10. Are you setting your adjustment screw correctly? That center screw with a nut on it is the one I'm talking about. Back that nut off and use a phillips head screwdriver and turn it in a little bit. Pull your clutch in and see it that helps. Before you button everything up, make sure your arrows on the case and the clutch puller line up. If you have a clymers it should have pictures and explain the process step by step.
  11. Hahaha, everyone needs to keep an eye out for shannons famous ruffee colidas!
  12. Yep, thats one of the first things my high school small engines teacher taught us.
  13. I have a cheap torque wrench from orielys and it has messed more stuff up for me than helped me. For the head nuts I just tighten them in sequence snug, then go back over them in sequence till they are all snug again. Fire the bike up and let it get warm, pull the gas tank back off while the motor is still warm and snug them all back down in sequence again. You don't need a ton of pressure to tighten the head down. It doesn't take very much to over tighten the nuts and bust the orings. As mentioned before, use vasoline to help hold the orings in place while you reassemble the head. Good luck.
  14. Wrong. Okie beer is measured in ABW, or acohol by weight. While for most of the rest of us, it is measured in ABV, or acohol by volume. I found this on a website, "6% ABV beer would convert to 4.8% ABW not 3.6% ABW 3.2% ABW beer would convert to 4% ABV" So there is a 2% difference in acohol difference, which would equate to 1/3 less per can. FYI. I went to college in Oklahoma and always wondered wtf was up with oklahoma liquor laws. Read more: http://www.city-data.com/forum/colorado-springs/75629-alcohol-content-beer-2.html#ixzz0x5Rb4Ssg
  15. I've been running the odi grips as well and really like them. They are soft, big around and grip good. Plus they lock in place so you don't have to worry about them coming off.
  16. Yep, pull your clutch cover and see if the nut in the center of your clutch pack is still on, or check it to see if it just backed off a little. I have had that happen in a couple of motors. If its falling off, you need to order a new nut and adjustment screw. www.farmandsandtoys.com has them.
  17. Thats pretty cool. Is that pic taken from your stand?
  18. Speaking of Alky,,, all the out of state beer drinkers should think about bringing their own beer. Oklahoma sells 3.2. Just a FYI.
  19. If your going to be racing a longer swingarm is deffinately a better choice. If your going to be trail riding a stock or +2 would then be a better choice. As far as the brake line I have, I'll have to take it out of the package to measure the length. I just bought one that was labeled for a +6 swinger.
  20. Its for a +6 arm. ?
  21. I've got a nice braided cable thats brand new in the box for a +6 if you want to buy one. $40 shipped.
  22. I used 1211 to seal my intakes up. I think thats a very common place for air leaks and people who don't take the time to do a pressure check, are never aware of the issue.
  23. Fill your boost bottle with ether.
