makes sense, i have rides planned and all of my atvs are for sale except the shee right now so i know how you feel and i dont remember what you had it listed for but i agree with you on not wanting to give it away or part it out
-
hey fastrthnu, how do you plan on these rides when your bike is on craigslist? lol i was searching yesterday an saw your bike up for sale
-
i would agree on the gps for getting accurate speed, i had a trailtech on my blaster and sometimes it was right and sometimes it was way off, i can remeber looking at like top speed and it said i had done close to 120mph, i highly doubt that was right on the blaster lol

Cell Phone Nerds Help a Brotha Out!
snowmanzz13 replied to Bansh-eman's topic in Computers and Technology
try cellsea and look for files that are smaller then 300kb and see if you have any luck, i have used cellsea for the ones i have and have made my own ringtones using that site, but prefer someone else to do the the work and i'm able to use what they did -

if your phone is like mine, it will only let you set songs that are 300kb and less as a ringtone. My phone is the black jack 2 which is supposedly this awesome phone, but kills me i can only use partials as ring tones. again, try www.cellsea.com and search your song, make sure the file size is the correct size by clicking on it and seeing the size on the new page that comes up, and click download. My next question is how are you trying to put them on your phone? i have only done it by downloading it and transfering it to my phone using the data cable.... -

the one i really like is cellsea.com usually has tons of new stuff and really easy to create your own -
bump for another old kx! i have a 90 and i'm tryin to sell her too, good luck with your sale

everyone on here seems to be a hater on that bumper, i run it and i like the way it looks but most others on here dispise it
-
whats everyone else running at the track? seems like a good way to point you in the right direction

if you want to get into drags, i would say side with the CPI's, if your doing lots of wide open riding then cpi's should do you good, t5's dont have the top end like cpi's
-
i'm guessing hes thinking the right will get more with the t being sideways an the right carb gets a more straight flow and the left is pulled from the straight through. instead of the original where it comes in and splits if that makes any sense?
-
not prettt compared to most of the bikes on here, but at least you are riding it like its supposed to be ridden! and plus, your riding a banshee so that just makes you amazing

i feel yah, on my stock swinger, i was launching in first, dont have enough motor to launch in second with a 15tooth front sprocket, and i would try to keep the front end down but it would still try to pul it up till about 4th. But i think my best time was 9.15ish on slicks and about 9.00 on dirt tires lol, its alot easier to launch on dirt tires cause they wont hook and i can spin the tires, but the "slicks" hook way to well for my little bit of motor and help me stand it straight up
-
those times seem close to where i was running with alot less work done to my bike, but i'm guessing you were fighting to keep the front end down with that -2 swinger on it, i hope when i go to bigger carbs and cpi's i dont stay running the same times

whats a 98 blaster worth?
snowmanzz13 replied to bansheejoel's topic in For Sale - Parts & Accessories
good running blasters can sell for 800-1200 range, atleast down here -
thats basically how i shift all over, especially on a straight, you can feel when it will shift like that or not and when you do it enough you learn to use the clutch when really needed, i aint no expert but havent had any trans issues in over 2 years and thats how i ride

Does eveyone's shee suck on gas?
snowmanzz13 replied to Boominrick's topic in General Banshee Discussion
i agree peterlocal22, shees are gas guzzlers but not that fast. I'm still on stock carbs and it drinks, i'm scarred to see what its like when i go to some big boy carbs -
i agree with kawi, tons of torque, just heavy, it pulls extremely hard out of the hole but doesnt have the big end like the banshee
-
you should have him easily, my dad has a ds650 with a pipe an a rev box, and i had t5's and walked all over him expecially on the big end. I used to love riding the ds because its got amazing susp. travel and launches hard for a 4poke and if he launches good it will pull on you a little bit. oh and i got about 70lbs more on me then my dad

how to hotwire a banshee
snowmanzz13 replied to bansheeriderfuhq's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
wow, he told me on atvflorida you guys didnt seem to like him, lol he is a straight forward guy and i'm willing to say the bike is his, i keep meaning to grab my clymers from storage to tell him what it says but i never remeber when i'm out that way. Sorry if he seems fishy but he is a good guy -
thanks!!

not an rz500 it was like an actuall custom banshee motor, the cases looked billet and had a special crank for all 4 cyclinders, it was a just a banshee motor originally just like two side by side molded into one
