lol i'm all for that not spending money, i know you can check the ohms for the coil but i don't have my banshee book here to tell you where it should be, maybe someone can llok it up for you, but i remeber when my dad put motor back together and i started and ran it for like a minute when it cut out and my dad took off and was like hope you can figure it out before i get back!! i was like thanks, i followed the book checking everything untill i pulled the left side cover off an the nut was jus layin there so i did it as tie as i could put it back together and started it and that turned out to be my culprit, then ripped it back apart and lock tited everything

sorry if the terminology sounds whack but i had this issue once also, the nut on the stator had come undone after being run, if that makes any sense just check it out as a precaution

it's a 2001 blaster 200 with a recent clutch, fmf fatty gold series pipe and power core 2 silencer aftermarket bumper/grab bar mud lite rear tires DG nerf bars FLY racing bars new stock reeds wiseco piston i know there is more but i cant think of anything else, here are some dirty pics, clean pics soon to come with in a day at the least would prefer local pick up but will meet half way if needed, this is a fast blaster that loves to plow through the mud, great begginer quad with plenty of power, ask any questions if needed

when you do the yfz arms swap, and you use the yfz shocks, how does the ride height change? up, down? i've seen with the 450 arms and stock shocks the front ride height drops and i would like to do this swap but want to keep close to the same height in the front as it's a rough terrain style rider and i want to still be able to go over rocks and what not

lol, that stinks but thanks for hanging on to them, just will make me feel alittle safer

well we just rebuilt the rear end like 2 weeks ago and coated everything with 'waterproof' grease and put it all back together, maybe a zerk fitting might be in the near future as we are thinking of putting one in our ds 650

so you think it might actually be worth it for me to put in a zerk fitting with all my mud ridding? thats basically all ride with it down in the everglades

how much do you want for a set of heel guards, it's getting hard to ride trails and mud and jump without worring about falling off the pegs

thanks guys, i forgot to check back onto here after i cleaned up the carbs, i need to check all these things but i was headed to put it in the trailer, so i drove it down the block and back and then into the back of the truck and as soon as i shut the tailgate it started pouring down raine but i will check when the rain lets up again thanks guys

i'll pull the carbs real quick and clean em up real quick because tommorow were supposed to leave for north carlolina from florida

okay, just put my banshee back together and it only runs on the left cylinder at idle but whenever you give it some gas the other kicks in. like when sitting at idle you can cover the right side exhaust and feel little bit of exhaust as if you put your hand over the left, you feel the exhaust, and when you rev it up a little you get smoke out of both pipes like normal, just put in a 310 jet because of it running a little too lean before on 290's, basically a stock shee with pipes and nothing else and this is the first time for this to happen, oh and when i say just got it back together i mean a top end rebuild with all new gaskets an new pistons an bord jugs thanks for your help josh

actually the one i have i think i got off of bikebandit.com but we hardly didn't use it lol, just took the stator out, and heated te flywheel to get rid of the loc tite that was in it and put the puller on and the flywheel fell off, we learned if you get it hot enough it comes right off without any effort on our ds650
