  3. :yelrotflmao: :yelrotflmao: :yelrotflmao: I think this is a good thread Cody, it brought up good response. But do agree that it isn't a mod but when your talking to a dumbass i always add that i have a jet kit....lol
  4. I didn't even read anybody elses response on this. I would never get rid of the shee. You think you have it bad i live in Beaumont, Texas do the research there is nowhere to ride and you have to drive forever just to hit decent dunes. But i'm still happy with what i got.
  5. Man i'm from Beaumont , Texas but used to live in West Palm Beach and spent some time in Pensacola Florida as well. I love Florida i think it's the cleanest state i have ever lived in. Not to mention the scenery everywhere you go. Wish i can come ride out there may take me a little bit to head back out there.
  6. I'm in Beaumont, Texas nothing happens out here unless i go to Houston for stuff. I wish i can make all that.
  7. Well i'm sorry i forgot to mention that when i talked to everyone they didn't have a problem with performance wise. Now as far as deals go ebay is the cheapest. Try That below http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Pro-Design-...VQQcmdZViewItem
  8. I just ordered one, i did some research from a few people and everyone said that they didn't have a problem with either brand. I got mine off ebay for 60 bucks what did you pay for yours or did you get one yet? I got a modquad
  9. I found out some good advice the other day and thought i would share with all the newbies out there. Ofcourse i'm bored at work and have nothing else to do and kinda curious to see how many people know about this. When your looking at the brake lever side on your bike there is a little glass window on your carb. When you push on the throttle very slow to bring the slider up there is a little dot that is on your slider. When you see the dot in the window of your carb that's when you want to adjust the screw on your throttle assy so that your slider isn't going up to far when on the throttle. It's the final breaking point on your pin so that your not letting to much gas just pound in the carb which causes excess gas to flow out your tubes coming from your carb. This also may cure bogging issues for some people. I never knew this til the other day when i was adjusting some stuff on the cable and doin some other stuff. Just thought i should pass this on and by the way you don't know how bored i am at work....lol Cody
  10. Definitly looks and sounds like it's gonna rip better than the 400 i would do it. How much extra cash are you talking about having to give me with the trade?
  11. HAHAHA I'm not hiding anything i'm waiting a little bit longer before i do a rebuild nothing special right now just the bolt ons. Wanting to do a port job, new pistons etc. I haven't had my bike very long it was in bad shape when i got it just getting it close to normal right now.
  12. Listen to theshee i was in your same situation when running with 450s but i added pipes and a few other things and i'm killing them. Ofcourse i have alot more done than just pipes but your best bolt on performance to start out with would be pipes.
  13. O and one more thing welcome to the HQ if you do get a shee you'll be hooked for life.
  14. Most of the people you talk to on this site are gonna tell you that there easy to work on and there the best quad to have except if your doin MX. I bought a Shee because of the many possibilities you can do with them. You get a 4 stroke your kinda limited on what you can do and what you can get for them. You don't have to start off with an older Shee because they are almost all similiar ecept for a few things. If your not doin MX get a Banshee just do the regular Maintance and you'll be fine. There a blast to ride and listen to them run.
  15. Just joking it could be a number of things clean the carbs out
  16. I feel your pain that sucks man let me know if i can help.
  17. Rocky Mountain ATV has a seat cover called "CEET" it's a gripper style like there talking about that's bad ass. May wanna check that out too.
  18. Nothing to worry about it's normal for sliders to look like that.
  19. Just remove the coolant bottle.
  20. ebay I just got one off ebay brand new with all the hardware for 60
  21. I don't think you ever gonna be able to paint your exhaust and be sure that it will stay on. Exhaust pipes get way to hot to be putting spray paint on them well in my opinion. You may have air pockets in your coolant as well. There are two bolts on the side of your jugs that you unscrew and then put your coolant in when the coolant runs out the bolts on the side of the jugs then tighten them up so you don't have any air pockets. Alot of people on here will tell you that the bolts are there because of just draining purposes but i've learned first hand that there is a possibility air pockets could form and there fore won't cool properly. But hey different strokes for different folks i do it because i believe in that and for safety precautions.
  22. Different is exactly what it is but i actually like it. Kinda cool
  23. ebay is the best thing ever, just type in motocross stickers and you should get all the stickers you want. Also try banshee graphics there are usually some people that are selling kits.
  24. Yeah so i would go ahead and make sure that is connected so it don't leak junk in your waterpump assy. I knew it had something to do with a vacumm pressure or something.
