  2. O and the bottomless money pit thing, there not joking about that i couldn't tell you how much i've sunk into mine so far and it's not over yet.
  3. TORS suck, not to mention they look nasty sitting on top of the carb caps. That's the first thing i did to mine.
  4. 104 is the stock chain length, You shouldn't have a problem if you have a stock swingarm, sprocket teeth don't matter only the distance from the front sprocket to the rear depending on if you have a extended swingarm. Sounds dumb to ask but do you have the chain run right through all the sliders?
  5. Buddy of mine said this the other day while i was rejetting, Lean is MEAN, Rich is a BITCH Definitly agree with him there.
  6. Wow nobody else i thought there would be alot of electrical gurus on here.
  7. I'm having the same problem with my front tire, it keeps going flat on me but i'm about to do the same thing to fix it.
  8. Looks lean, how long did you run the bike with those plugs?
  9. haha i don't know what i'm getting myself for fathers day being that i'm not a father.
  10. The links to the pictures don't work
  11. That sucks, i'm out for a while too i'm waiting on some parts from the Yamaha shop before i can ride.
  12. What size are you looking far?
  13. Ewww nasty, did you fly over the handlebars?
  14. Looks to clean to be wrapped, but maybe he just did a jam up job. Nice bike though and definitly dig the graphics.
  15. I'm from Beaumont Texas way down south you outta hear how we talk...lol But it don't bother me when people make fun.
  16. Yeah i was impressed of the way they handled on a track, felt like i was on a cadillac with the stance and suspension but i wouldn't trade my banshee for one any day. You definitly have to put exhaust on them to get any power out of them.
  17. 4 wheeler all the way, you can drink beer and ride at the same time...haha
  18. If your Meticulous and Precise at what you do just like ME i would take the carbs off ....1 at a time........like (fastrthnu) said it's much easier and it gives you a chance to see what your carbs look like, gives you a chance to clean them, check floats, etc. I live right at sea level and i'm running 280 with double K&N Filters one off each carb with Toomey T5s with some more stuff. Given where your located i would try the 290.
  19. I haven't even looked at those books before do they have the diagrams on how to put (for example) crankcase cover assembly together etc. Or does it just tell you the maintance on them.
  20. Well the connectors that were there didn't match up with my headlight connectors. Is there anywhere that i can get the right connectors i mean it isn't a bad idea i just don't know where to solder the wires back to the main wire assembly.
  21. I'll throw in a couple bucks for a raffle...lol
  22. Ok so i'm removing all the excess wiring for the TORS so really i'm only cutting wires that were disconnected just dangling there ya know. Well i forgot my headlight connectors were dangling too cause they don't match up to the connector on my headlights so i cut them as well. What do i need to do as far as re-running or wiring the headlight electrical system? Anybody have this problem or know what i can do? I found a site where i can get a brand new entire electrical system for the bike for only 100 bucks i figured if i get that everything is new and clean and i can learn how everything works by installing it that way. Opinions greatly appreciated!
  23. Welcome aboard, you came to the right place for info and definitly just bought the most addictive quad out there!
  24. Yeah i wouldn't get a banshee then.
  25. I already said it was nice...lol
