  2. Definitly stick with the Shee
  3. I would sell it and get a 4 stroke, no way your tuning down a powerband
  4. 1500 millimeters Says 1500cm on the side of the case which is 1500 millimeters
  5. Yeah i still have the stock one, when i replaced the clutch cover i went ahead and got a new seal and barring for the water pump impeller. I'm just gonna get a billet one like yall said for the durability and less headache. I'm not losing water anywhere so maybe it's not lined up or the white plastic gear is f'd up. Thanks guys Where is the best billet impeller i should get?
  6. Thanks guys, I had a hunch it could be the water pump, i hope it's nothing major...Maybe i can just line it up with the clutch cover on and hopefully the plastic gear isn't fucked up.
  7. So when i put the new cover on i may not have lined it up? So if i did do that is the water pump gear F'd up or is it just that it isn't lined up? I agree it could be that as well.
  8. One more question.............If you don't do that and release the air pocket would it cause the motor itself to overheat? Being that it's not got the right flow of fluid cause of the air? -Cody
  9. THATS WHAT I THOUGHT Just needed some more opinions i've seen alot of water pump and clutch cover questions about people taking them apart. Hopefully this helps them and reminds them to do that so they don't blow any head gaskets after it's all said and done.
  10. I've seen a few topics about the water pump seal and barring. I just replaced all mine just to be safe. But you have to remember when you put your coolant back in that you don't make any air pockets in the line or it won't cool right. I'm having that problem right now. I would definitly listen to someone that has learned from a mistake that just saying it...lol There is a bolt behind the exhaust that you have to unscrew and it gets all the air pockets out the line. Here is a pic.
  11. Sorry if i'm repeating people. don't feel bad i just had the same problem, get a piece of wood and set it on the front side of the clutch cover, get a big enough socket and use a C-Clamp to press it in......Don't ever force anything in with beating something i've learned the hard way to many times. That's why they make plenty of tools you just have to know how to use them...lol Don't take any chances with seals and barrings either.
  12. I just replaced my waterpump gasket and clutch cover gasket and didn't use sealant. But ofcourse mine is a 04 still pretty straight and you should have to use BS like that if your getting new gaskets. Am i right?
  13. If my shee was here i would post you a pic, i'm sure by the time i get off work tommorow someone will already get you a pic. But there on the side of the carbs. You have to file down the hole so it's completly flat then after you file it down it's best to take the carb off and use a drill tap with some drill tap oil and install your screw. It's not that hard sorry i don't have pics for ya.
  14. Don't worry about it man there can be a porn forum about woman and someone can post something about a nipple ring and you will have atleast one person saying it should be in the modified porn forum. Hope you fix your problem.
  15. Here's the situation, i installed a aluminum clutch cover...(so i had to drain all the fluid including coolant) Well when i put it back on even after putting new water pump seals, gaskets, everything it is running HOOOOOOOOOT. So is it because i didn't get the air pockets out of the line when i put new collant in or could it be something else? Someone said if there is air pockets in the line it won't cool right. Here is a pic of the bolts that someone told me to loosen and wait till the collant flowed out of them to get the air pockets out. See the bolt i'm talking about????????
  16. Thinking about taking a vacation somewhere wish i was going to Glamis but if i do it won't be for a while.
  17. I think there all the same material, just like when you order the toomey 2:1 assay the outerwear is the same just says toomey.
  18. Yeah it was on public road so i probably can't get out of it then but it don't say anything on the ticket it was on a public road so if i plee not guilty hopefully the cop don't show up at court and i can get out of it.
  19. Sounds like you wanna bike to ride around on and have fun but yet have power (cheap power) and be able to control it when you ride trails etc but yet still wanna beat your buddies. If your buddies are running 450s with just exhaust and a few things here and there you should be able to hang with them with a banshee if you get pipes, jet kit, reeds, and a few other things. Your still gonna look at spending over a grand to beat them.
  20. I got a ticket on my banshee a couple weeks ago for riding a unregistered vehicle and gave me a ticket for not having insurance on it. What's up with that i thought it was your choice not to have insurance on a 4 wheeler? What should i do try to fight it?
  21. A utility knife? I would never have believed that would work, i'm sure you had to put some muscle into it. I used a drimel and sanded it down when i shaved mine. Then airhose the bike when i was done.
  22. P.S. Those are some old pics my Shee doesn't look close to that anymore...lol Just posting some pics up of the nerfs.
