  2. no tors......it was all good before i took it apart and cleaned it but now it just wants to bod and not idle

  4. i took my carbs off to givre them a cleaning and now i got it all back together and my shee wont stay idling and bogs at first when hit the throtle?????please help
  5. ok so then yes i have the toomey/dynojet cause i do have the washer ....in the not being used position but it is there. the only difference between mine and what toomey recomendes is that mine is on the 3rd notch and they say 4th
  6. i guess so ...the needle has 6 notches......how else can you tell
  7. thanks dajogejr for getting my point.......and thanks to all for the help.....so i guess im good with what i have and on the 3rd notch untill i find a place to get the shee wot to do a plug chop
  8. ohh ok....so when someone tells me i should be on the 3 notch or 4 or 1st....whatever.....how do i know if they are right for my needle???? dont they have to have the same needle to give that advice????
  9. i was reading the threads about jetting and notice that a diagram of the needle has 5 clips/notches and always read about everyone having 5 but mine has 6....is there something wrong with this?????

  11. i found out through much serching and taking my shee apart that i have the set up toomey recomends for thier t5 pipes and wanted to know if thier right or has anyone found them to be off at all?????? the only thing different is that i removed my airbox lid....willl this make it need adjustment????? toomey says: The Toomey Racing T5 Pipes Toomey Racing Silencers Stock carbs Boyesen Reeds on Boyesen RAD-Valves Standard cylinders Needle on the 4th groove ......i think mine is on 3rd #280 Main jet Float setting = 21mm Airscrew at approx. 1.5 turns out from full in. (Effective range .5 to 2.5) Standard pilot jet (#25)

  15. just checked all i can check ....my compression is 125 on both sides and my carbs have 280 mains 25 pilots and needle is on the 3 clip(seems to rub on hole it goes into....is this bad) and what is the thing that the main jet screws into... with several holes in it ...it says 345 and then also says 0-8 on it??????........so does this all sound about right......i know i still have to do a plug chop to be for sure but am i in the ballpark or should i change any of this???? almost forgot....heres what i got....02 banshee, t5's, k&n filter w/box and no cover, hi-flo impeller, in line cooler, engine ice, adjustable stator plate +4, boost bottle, tors elim., 13f and 40r sprockets bigger tires, 220ft above sea level and average of 85 degress in summer and 40 in winter

  17. would 20 cc domes be ok....i live in a sea level elevation and want to run pump 93 octane gas if possable.....also what kind of happy medium in suspension we talking.....give my some ideas.....im clueless on suspension...and its mosly trails a little asphalt and once and a while dunes when i can get there.......(would like to get there more often)
  18. i got a 02 shee with t5's k&n with no lid, hi flo impeller, in line cooler, boost bottle, tors elim., adjust. stator +4, 13 and 40 sprockets, engine ice, bigger tires(for the clearence), ride mostely trails and some dunes and a little asphalt........whats the best combo i should add on /do to my motor and suspension to be able to ride my condions but still beat my friends with thier yzf428 and 450's??????....i really hate to lose.....expecally to a 2 wheel 4 stroke
  19. so far i got t5 pipes, adjustable timing plate +4, hi flo impleller, 13 and 40 sprockets, k&n air filter with outerwears and no air box cover, tors eliminated, boost bottle, and larger tires all around....think thats it....intenally i don't know so what jets should i need or start with??????

  21. ok well then i dont understand.......just want the max cc's that the motor can go too.... that the stock suspension can handle.....ridding trails and dunes.....does that make more sense or maybe im not getting it

  23. tring to find out whats the most cc's i can build my motor too without having to change the suspension and still run on pump gas .....doing work to the trans is ok too but dont want to mess with the suspension or the price of it....lol
  24. lol .... you must be thinking of something else .....there's no impeller seals that need to be taken out to change the impeller .....stock one or billit one....its not that hard a task at all
