  3. We did test Shearer's pipe, we ask for a ordinary pipe they sell on the internet. The other day we asked for a costume pipe, for a costumer bike's, 7hp gain. That's was a fully drag bike. If you have the money, don't bother with market pipe, ask CPI or Shearer for a costume pipe, you won't regret it.
  4. Compression Testing A compression tester is a useful diagnostic tool, and readily available from Sears or auto parts stores. Buy the threaded type and make sure the kit comes with an adapter that matches the spark plug threads of your engine. Performing a compression test is simple. Start by removing the spark plug, thread in the adapter, and hold the throttle wide open and the kill button on. This will prevent any spark and enable the engine to draw in maximum airflow. Then kick-start the engine several times until the needle on the pressure gauge peaks. The pressure reading depends on two main factors; the compression ratio and the altitude at which the engine is being tested. The compression ratio will also depend on if the engine is equipped with exhaust valves and their condition. When the exhaust valves are in the closed position the compression ratio will be greater than if the valves are carbon-seized in the open position. The difference may yield a pressure reading 25 psi. The quality of compression testers varies greatly. The main thing that a compression tester can identify is a change in condition. Whenever you rebuild the top end, take a compression pressure reading and mark it down. When the pressure changes 20% check the condition of the piston and rings. Pistons usually last twice as long as rings. P.S: Buy the tool for removing the sparkplug. If something isn't clear, tell. Welcome with us!

  6. Once a years Don't wait for the first signs for a rebuild, take an habit to do an inspection to your bike. Like a compression test, crankcrase pressure test.

  16. Looks you have an open circuit. If you check everything that can be wrong. The banshee start, that a good point, it dies, but at least he start, allright. Can you give my more information about, how it happen? Do you have a ohmmeter? Do you know how to use it? Do you know the electric systeme ?
  17. You can help me a bit more, buddy. Does it revs higher? Have you noticed over-heating? Have you noticed hesitation? With the throttle where is the problem? 1/2? WOT? 1/8? 3/4? Looks like it will be alot easier for you to put back the stock filter and wait for your pipe to come back If you think I don't understood what you said, tell me. EDIT: choke shit for wot with no power warm up pop the choke out to the first notch; if at WOT gets worse you're rich and drop a size on the mains; if it gets better with the choke out you're lean and should start going up on the mains until WOT, then drop a size Keep in mind that's only one trick for the choke, theres other shit for knowing other shit, or try to
