  1. ok they are not setting the same distance from the carb. So can someone help me through the process of sync'ing them? or send me to a page that can assist me? please and thanks
  2. UPDATE I finally got the courage to go mess with the shee, (its 38degrees out here) the carbs arent "level with eachother, does that mean they arent sync'd then? the reason i ask is that they "float" moreless on the carbs but what i have found is the new plugs did no good, switching the plug wires altered nothing, so my next question is where would i find the adjustment nob or lever at to adjust the carbs? oh also is there a prefered air filter? ive always been partial to K&N but what would be the best application for loose packed dirt/some sand? thanks again all and sorry for the delayed responses
  3. Lets see, I i live right above sea level, im guessing tors are the throttle controls on the top of the carbs? and to be completly honest i dont know a whole lot about two strokes and the reed settings. all i know is there is a stage three race kit, its very possible I need to put new plugs in ive ran my quad for about 15 hrs on the same set of plugs with a rich mixture (just had new wiseco's put in.) to break it in. so new plugs will be first priority, second will be to switch the plug wires, to see if its electrical, third will be to check all hoses and connections to make sure everythings air tight. After that any suggestions? For this moment tho, im going to go sleep. Just got off work and im beat. I appreciate all the responses you guys/gals are very helpful.
  4. I hate to throw this off topic but what exhaust setup are you runnin on your black banshee?
  5. Hello all, this is my first post tho i have been reading on the HQ for a while. What prompted me to post was that my banshee (2001) is running rather oddly. It will only run on 1 cylinder at idle and about half way through the throttle the second piston kicks in. I am gettin spark to both pistons and gas also. I have no idea what the problem could be but i fear that if this continues there will be premature wear on the constant runnin piston. Thanks for any input/ help Cameron.
