CRAZY-SHEE!

omfg dude.. u just found the banshee deal of a lifetime! 1500 for a 2004!? jesus! way to go man! btw that throttle problem.. probably just some messed up clip position. Ull have to ask around. but 1500!?!?!!? WHERE WAS I!!??

ok.. heres my situation.. i happned to be washing my quad.. sorta.. not much i can do with a rebroken collar bone but anyway.. almost done putting it away when my dad points out.. hey dude.. ur freakin frame its broken. man.. :/ apparerntly after so many eyars, the paint chipped away and it rusted. eventually it rusted through. ok.. so now i need a new frame... gonna have to freaking save up a long time for this.. ok so heres my question. I dont like the j-arm system i have much.. i like the a-arm setup.. so if i were to order a say.. 1996 model frame, which has the a-arm setup.. would i be able to take everything off my 89-90 ( not sure) and put it on the new frame? ( of course with buying new a-arms) would there be any incompatibility issues? i head there may be soemthing wrong with the pipes or something?

lol no theyre not and when i was waiting in that shady nieghborhood for 3 hours my mom called and asked if there were any houses around.. i said........ "ya..." shes like well go and knock on the door! ( before she knew what kind of nieghborhood i was in) i just said real quiet.. " Im not knocking on the door of that house." lol

ok guys.. over the week i got my stroker installed. got everything done.. finally time for the big bambino. I was gonna get the porting done by jeff but he is just rediculasly backed up. who should i have it done by? btw it needs to be for a 4mm stroker 5mm longrod motor

lol yea it was a long story.. but the worst part was the nighborhood.. like my dads friend who knew the area when he showed up waz like.. " lets load this thing up get in the truck and lets get the hell outta here"

ok.. well it started out on sunday when we were just going to go riding for a little bit and the next day we were gonna go the whole day. But on saturday my brother and his gf decide to start a huge ass fight between him, my 2 sisters and her and something about throwing her out the front door. theres was lots of yelling and cause my bro hit his gf and my sister, my dad was bout ready to throw him through a wall. and if that wasnt bad enough, it took 2 hours to get it all sorted out. So when we finally got the trailer and everything hooked up we were only able to ride for like.. 3 hours :/. Sooo.. on sunday.. we follow the directions that desert hawk gave us to go to morristown.. And man.. what an awesome area. Then it all started. The first bad thing to happen was.. we were on this berm by a ranch and some dude came out and told my whole family to get the **** off it.. there were no signs so we didnt know.... so then were just riding around.. and me my dad and my cousin go on a trail ride.. it was a blast and it was no problem we got back in 45 minutes. (great trails by the way) Now.. i specifically told my parents i didnt want my brother to ride my quad. but they keep offering it too him. My brother, my sister, my cousin, and him, all run off to go to the trails. None of the morons are smart enough to bring a phone. And i SPECIFICALLY told my bro, that the god dang banshee sucks down gas so fast it only has about 2 hours of run time on a full tank. I also told him that if he has any doughts about where hes going to turn around and head back. But my brother is an irresposible moron who raced through the trails fast, cut people off and didnt memorize the trail to head back. ( hes a total dick to ride with, get within 2 inchs of ur tires, tailgates, "i got the lead!" ok he says. 30 seconds l8r.. VROOM right past ya.) Now when they were gone for about an hour i realized that they had better be on theyre way back. because the banshee only has 1 hour of gas time left. After the 2 and a half time hit, i knew the banshee was out of gas. So now were trying to find them, but they have ALL the quads so we cant make it up the trails with our cars. and we only have one big ass dirtbike with an inexperienced rider on it. She cant make it up the trials to look for them. So all we can do is wait.. 4 and a half hours l8r.. i see them coming from the far end of the riverbed. i count.. one.. two.. three... .... i count 3 vehicles. Yep he ran outta gas on the banshee.. now i was pissed.. cause i had barely gotten to ride my quad, and it wouldnt be so bad, BUT THEY ****ING JUST LEFT IT THERE WITH NO ONE TO GAURD IT. they said.. well we put it behind a bush.. so i hop on a quad, my bro and his gf hop on a quad, with the gas tank, and we head off to go find them.. it took us 45 minutes to get there, thats how far out they were. So, after we finally get there, in the middle of NOWHERE we half fill up the tank, and we start to head out. About 30 seconds down the trail, the blaster im on rear wheels lock up. OMG can this day get any worse? So now we have NO WAY to get the blaster out of there... so they send me for help. So i make my way back, on the only vehicle that has no god damn light, and meet my aunt halfway through the riverbed and she tells me to show the way. so we get going even though i told her she wont make it, and we get to that point. And she says well why didnt u ****ing tell me? so now she gives me a strap to tow the sucker. ok.. the banshee and me towing the locked up blaster with the banshee lighting the way.. no problem.. but ive got my dad whos down in the riverbed yelin at me in the phone.. and it was all very confusing. Finally they tell me to just go there and meet up with them.. thank all mighty god my sister gave me a phone. note i dont know the trail very well, only rode it once and it was very confusing. So i get there, its DARK, with no light, and my ****ing brother took off on the damn banshee to the camp.. so now im stuck, in the middle of nowhere, with no light, at night, cant see the UNFAMILER trail, and my parents are telling me to just go back to my aunt. ( the one in the car that followed me to an extent) now... on my way back.. i lose the trail SUPRISE SUPRISE! i call my dad and im freaking out, cause i already was getting spiders crawling on me and i could hear cyotes. So now im running around in the dark until after about 15 minutes i find a plain flat dirt ROAD that looks traveled alot and im freaking out and i call my parents and tell them im lost. My moms crying cause they cant find me, all the quads are back at camp except for the one im on and theyre out of gas so they cant look for me, while i was away my sister hurt her knee, the blaster got left behind, im almost empty on gas in the quad i was on, im lost, shes about ready to call in the search heli, the jeep that followed me got 3 god damn flats and managed to make it to the entrance to the trails and its out of gas, and its dark and i cant see the trails im riding, im in a t shirt and shorts and for those who dont know, it gets freezing in the dessert at night, they dont know or have any clue where i am, im scared, and everyone is blaming everyone back at the camp cause my brother managed to find his way back on the banshee but my dad was screaming mad cause he left the blaster and left me in the dessert with no light, and now i have no light oh, and my moms worried about cyotes.. so im on this dirt road and parents are trying to tell me to calm down when thankfully, 2 redneck hillbillys happend to be walking and they managed to show me where a paved road called patton was. So i tell my parents this, and im just waiting by this road called patton for like 3 hours in the dark, my moms telling me not to make too much noise, and l8r i found out.. that i was in the BAD part of the dssert. Like.. people go through.. and dont come out. And im standing by the side of the road freaking out, everyones still yelling.. ugh.. so my dad calls his friend who lives int hat area and asks him where patton road lives.. he was in his truck within 30 seconds saying I LIVE ON PATTON ROAD! and expliaing to him to tell me to lay low cause he says im in like the bronx of the dessert. people come in.. they dont come out.. so he gets to me in like 5 minutes.. and lemme tell u.. ive never been happier to see a person in my life.. we load the quad up and my parents met us at his house. My mom its crying cause im acutally alive and she didnt have to call in the search copter.. and i JUST WANTED TO GO HOME. And by chance my dads friend that found mes brother is a towtruck guy, so he was able to pick up my aunts jeep.. and.. i rebroke my collar bone driving frantically in the dark.. ( i wasnt even supposed to be riding that hard or technically at all) and belive this.. somehow i made it 45 miles into the middle of nowhere from our camp site. we parked at like.. 200th street... they found me at like.. 300th. worse day of my life.. o and this morning they left to go get the blaster they left behind.. but god.. what nice trails =)

"the carbs looked so shitty that i bought some of ebay and k & N pods on" O.O when did u buy these??? cause i was outbid by some prick and i really needed those carbs. just last week... lol they were k&n pods with stock carbs without tors for my cousins bike.. went up to like 134. wouldnt that be crazy?

u serious? i live in az.. he says he never touched the carbs.. i think were at like 1500 or something.. that or sea level...

ok.. ive been working on my cousins quad all day. (banshee) and it runs like shit... my sisters blaster with only v force reeds and an fmf pipe kicks this things ass out of the water. his banshee is all stock. i mean.. it really is running like shit.. its actuing weird.. like sometimes itll have a good top end.. like a lgihtswitch effect.. but most of the time he got nowhere in the powerband area.. sometimes its difficult for it just to get throguh all the gears and it has like.. noooooo throttle response... like it takes 6-7 seconds before it actually starts to go anywhere and get that lightswitch effect... and sometimes itll work on the right pipe.. sometimes the left.. and his left pipe is sometimes shooting unignited gas/sludge. Now.. i asked him a little bit about it.. its an 89 and its on its original top end >_> soo... 17 year old top end.. better look into this.. and he also says.. that the person before him put new pistons in it, because one BROKE APART, SMASHED AROUND IN THE ENGINE, but never bored it because he said it didnt look liek the cylinders had much damage. O_O. so i take off his cylinders.. they are F***ED UP. The head, has dents in it. I put eveything back together.. and it has a compression test of... 50 . Well thats depressing. lol so would all these problems be cause by this low compreion? btw he has a hole in his left exaust pipe in the expansion chamber. and will the head be ok or do i need to order him a new one? and his carbs have 160 mains in them. not sure if this could be a arb problem.

lol ok sounds like the +4 will work thx.. and sorry cfm i already bought one from a friend who upgraded his banshee from a port job to a cheetah kit.. he had a +4 and i bought it.. he needed a +10

ok im trying to find a freakin UNANAMOUS decision. I have the following mods. hot rods +4 mm sstroker crank long rod (5mm+) Dune port(matchs 4mm stroker) 21cc cool head 35mm keighns w/ pod filters v force 3's case porting.. it matchs with the cylinder porting giving it more power. (matchs 4mm stroker) High power coil +4 timing lightened flywheel toomey t-5;s... again ( was gonna have some shearers but the bastard soldem before i got there.) hinson straight cut gears. HD clutch. NOW. DO I NEED A +4 SWINGER FOR THIS OR NOT? I ride mostly fireroad trails. sometimes dunes. Yes or no? i have people saying no, yes, get a +8, etc and its pissin me off =( this is the last time imma ask. cause i asked like.. 50 times already. thx again for any help. also id test it myself but i cant as i have to replace my case so while i was at it, decided to get a +4 crank etc...

ok guys.. this isnt my story but somebody elses.... ok when my mom told me this story i felt sick. im not even kidding.. this is one of the most grusome stories ive ever heard and a horrible way to go and i cant even imagine . He didnt make it... anyway my mom works at walgreens and is real friendly with customers. one day some how she got into talking with a customer about me riding my banshee and falling off and the customer had his own story to tell.. aparrently his brother and his brothers son went off riding, ( not at glamis but at some dunes she cant remember) and they were having a blast. But.. somehow the kid screwed up (he was 16) and he flew off his quad over a dune going about 60.. he made it before the quad did.. on the quads way down, the plastic broke. And when the plastic broke.. it formed a point. As the quad was rolling down the hill, it rolled over him and severed his leg. from his pelvis. And they were in the middle of no where.. no cellphones. no walkies, no nothing. They had no way of reaching help. His own father.. had to hold his son in his arms and watch him bleed to death. I cant even imagine what his father must have been going through.. his son was concious through most of this talking to his dad. Eventually he passed out and died.. and there was nothing his dad could do. i have to say.. thats horrible. this story really made me feel sick.. i cant even imagine.

ok i am totally lost all. wtf does that damn coolant bottle do thats mounted on the back of the airbox . i have no place to put it with my pods theyre so i tywraped it on and it keeps freakin fallin off. is there a way to take it off? cause the levels in it are constantly changing. ill fill it up, itll leak some radiator fluid.. itll go down to the low area and itll stop leaking. wtf.

Im almost positive u can go bored over alot over .20 like up to .50 or something. Wiesco pistons are the best out there. and if its messed up, which im betting it is, ur gonna need new domes. 20,21,and 22 cc domes u can run primeum pump gas on.. however once you hit 19,18,17and 16 u need to start running high octane racing fuel and unless you have some heavyer mods that not a good idea. 19cc domes are more twards stroker bikes and drag bikes and serverly ported bikes. stick with your 20cc's.

as of now.. no but im trying to decide weather to get them done by rb for like 3 weeks or wait the couple months for jeff.. im a patient guy but... 5 months? :/ and where would i buy these domes? and what do i look for domes for a 4mm crank or domes for 5mm long rod or both? btw i have nice POLISHED 38mm keighn carbs. =)

found one =) also do i or do i not need to cut the domes with a 21cc cool head???? im going to go with the 65.5 mm bore pistons.

sigh.. all i ca find is INFO on this kit.. does anyone know where i can freakin buy it.

ooo i just did a search and it looks like wiesco makes a kit that has a hot rods 4mm crank with 5mm long rods, 795 pistons, and i gasket set.. well.. im decided this is where my next paycheck will go! ( my gf said i could get it) its only like 900 bucks! :woot: thats awsome

cool.. i have s speacial straight cut transmission gear setup by cascade ( 500 wing wongs :/) theyre hinson.. but lemme tell you the first time u take off u now that theyre doing theyre job.. it makes its throttle response better too. Had to buy these cause i pebble got into my gearbox somehow and... well.. :/ i could buy the gears.. all ready got the other stuff... but where do i get the pistons and how do i cut a head for a strocker? ps.. I THOUGHT COOL HEADS DIDNT NEED TO BE CUT! :/ btw i have nice polished carbs :thumbsup: and lastly what gear setup do you suggest? i was just gonna go with 14/41
