  1. 4mm all the way.. if your racing stock bikes.... then youll spank them either way... and 4mm parts are easy to get..
  2. if its still on reserve.. it could be outta gas.. belive me ive seen it before.. if it only does it on reserve even on a full tank, your filter in the gas tank could be clogged on the reserve switch, restricting the flow.
  3. im shooting for just the cylinders, special; head, and special intakes. i dont want the kit thingy..

  5. well, actually with 160 you should be safe with just running premium pump gas.. at least.. IMO.
  6. wait.. i think i found them.. is this it? its got the equalizer thing.. it looks the same.. etc.. and for some reason, i cant find cr500 reeds.. its probably a 4 poke.   7. ok just a quike question for ya fellas, since the cheetah racing cylinders for the banshee use the cr250 reeds, ( i think correct me if im wrong, it might be cr500) is it possible to just order them and they would work on a cheetah? cause i want them v-force style. so if i order some vforce style cr250 reeds.. they should fit in my cheetah right? ( when i get it)
  8. first off, ditch the coolant bottle. useless. Second off, drain your coolant. Then after that, go through all your coolant pipes, valves, and check your water impeller. Make sure nothing is pinhed or clogged. Cause if the impellar is not spinning, your coolant could be standing still and getting too hot and boiling. causeing it to expand and overflow your coolant bottle. if you dont have a mega flow impeler for ur cub, i suggest u get one. Then check your compression. 20cc domes normally dont require race gas, and if the compression is below 170, u dont need race gas and it would be bad for it to run race gas. Then remove your head. Check to see if the head is leaking coolant. Look for any burn marks on the head, abnormal carbon build up on your pistons, etc. Do a plug chop. You could be running lean or too rich. When you first got it did you do the heat up/ cool down sequence to set the seals? Then finally, take off the flywheel.stator cover, and make sure that your adjustable timing plate didnt come lose, or the screws didnt back out, etc. That happens sometimes. if you dont have one, i suggest u get one. Relatively cheap for all that power. Check ur spark plugs, make sure theyre not fouled. Thats about all i can think of right now.. cheak all that stuff.. its probably one of them. edit- oops u said coolant cap, thought u said coolant bottle.

  11. well, we could use skype, its totally free, but wed have to tell each other our scrreen names. ive had both and skypes better. Clearer voice and it doesnt cut out.. its always on. with ts its voice activated, and sometimes cuts out.

  13. thats not good for it dude :shoothead: u should run race gas in it.. also for the bolt on stuff, i was thinking all stock, not bolt ons.. big diff. Its totally cool if u have all the bolt ons.. port it, check ur comp, if its a 175, u gotta run some 110 in that biotch.
  14. well, if ur looking for 175 psi ur talking racing fuel, and honestly racing fuel in just a ported motor is a waste. just not worth it. get some pipes, carbs, reeds, etc and then maybe it would be worth it.. most people only run racing fuel in stock banshees if theyre actually racing it and need to squize every bit of HP out of it.. that and most people run race in a cub. as far as raising the comp, i dont know.. i think port work can actually lower it sometimes. Not sure though..

  19. bummer... u might have shorted out your coil or your stator. id replace the coil first( cheaper) if it doesnt work, buy a nice ricky stator stator.

  21. yea.. the triple rates.. but i really like the rear suspension setup with the new arm. It looks tight and frmo those who got it ive heaard only good things. WICKED EXPENSIVE THOUGH. What works are the best? i always did like the look of work shocks... elkas just look kinda.. stock... ill look into it. edit- HOT DAMN! those are cheap! nice. But how come i can only find them in dual rate., not triple? edit # 2- ok.. so basically.. u need special reeds and a special head... to run a cheetah.. thats what my reasearch shows me.. basically other then that can use all theother stuff a cub uses..crank.. etc.
  22. moneys not a problem.. im looking for performance. And from what i hear, a cheetah will be perfect for me. And thats excellent news jeff.. ill just buy it from u. the stuff to get it to the ground is sitting in my garage.. i dont need it for just the passion port i have on it now. illl put it on when i buy the cheetah. As for the lockup, got that too, suspension.. im working on that.. thats wicked expensive gonna take a month or two to save up for those.. Freakin elkas, ^^ and the override.. ill have someone do it when the time comes.. i know all the necessary steps i need to get this to work.. i work on high HP bikes out here, so i have a relative idea of what im doing.

  24. ok guys.. ive decided i guess, until l8r.. imma get a cheetah motor with a 7 mil crank for my quad. Now the problem is, i cant find any reputable dealer to buy this bad boy from. Ive been googleing it for the past 2 hours. the only company i can find is trinity, and i refuse to buy from them after the ordeal with my v force 3 reeds. (ordered them priority, it took 2 months to get here) and the fact that, in theyre description, they say some like, aluminum, not nickasil, and stuff like that, and im not sure if they true and weld thayre cranks, etc.. i have yet to find a reputable builder that sells these.. fast doesnt sell them, only cubs. No one seems to carry these things. Im looking around but.. i cant find any.. where did the people who got theyre cheetas get theyes? Btw im already up to 1700 saved for it ^^ edit- sry about the typo in the title.
  25. shearers all the way, peak hp at high rpms, highest HP, crazy top end when the power hits the pipes, they look cool AND sound cool.. just saying it. SHEARERS. like a knife. :beer:
