  1. Wanna swap anything for it? You don't have a banshee anymore though do ya?
  2. What carbs? All stock? Tube between the carbs on and not cracked if they're stockers? Air leak somewhere eles? Caps on tight? Slides in backwards? Or switched between carbs? Etc, etc
  3. From what I read on the state site Oregon honors some states registration. There's a list of which states I found. Forget where though. I know Idaho is on the list. Not sure about bfe wyoming though. I know guys that ride over there with the same 450 and pipe they I have and haven't been bothered. But I'm sure there are horror stories.
  4. Is it stock? Still have the torrs system or the clutch lever switch in place?
  5. I think that's the case. I think on the website there's a story about it and when you go there they have little flyers in the campground bathhouse telling you not to eat the sand. Might say something about there being a study to see if any body has grown a third eye or anything from it.
  6. Say, did ya already get rid of that nasty stock plastic?
  7. Another one? Really?
  8. Jes got some sweet moose knuckle guards too. Like to have a set of them
  9. 100hp on a +4. Hell of a ride man. Good luck with the sale.
  10. Are these made from the good $10 a roll thick shit or the crappy 2 for a $1 rolls?
  11. Got any pics of the different plastics? I sold my junk and am in the market. White maybe, or the all black set? Let's see em
  12. Is big river sand drags still up and running? Just north of st joe by like 15-20 miles.
  13. If you're more into the duning than the drag I'd look into the serval. I've talked to a few guys with cubs and ported cubs that wish they would've went that way.
  14. I think I've been told that the cubs need the compression and timing or they are way doggy on the bottom. If a person wants to run pump probably be better off running a serval. I'm sure somebody smarter than me will correct me if I'm wrong.
  15. It's funny that we don't hear anything about the different intakes. That makes a huge difference. Especially for the guys using the big ass internal crossover billet ones. The couple I had pushed the carbs up and back. I fought that even with the snipers. I'd think using the upp type intakes would be the hot ticket as long as you have clutch arm clearance. Pretty well any intake with aluminum in it is gonna space the carbs back and could potentially give clearance problems with the wrong combination. That's something I never gave any consideration and nobody said squat to me about. Funny it's not a little more common knowledge. Pipe builders should be able to tell you which intakes you'll have luck with and which ones would possibly have clearance issues. If not its something that they oughta put a little time towards before we all start running our mouths about which pipes fit and which ones don't. The head clearance issue is a whole other can of worms that is just stupid. Can't argue that one.
  16. Ive got an ltr. Most of the forums I've been on with it the hard core guys run 6-7 paddle haulers or gliders. Lighter weight shorter paddle stuff.
  17. Wheres the rest of it? Looks like a PVL. Pretty well a drag ignition. No lighting coil. It's a complete ignition system. All the other crap you should have goes with it. The trinity timing plate is what it is, overpriced.
  18. If you're looking for cost effective buy a used stock crank, get it checked out and truer/welded. Guy I know just bought a good one for $70 shipped. Another $60 coulda had it tried and welded. It can be done pretty cheap if ya look around for the deals.
  19. I haven't had the balls to do the match trick but I've heard it works good. Last few I fought I did the strap, pulled the core on the stem, then used a blow gun in the valve stem. Hat did the trick for me. Sometimes standing it up and bouncing on it at the same time u blast it with air. Gotta have plenty of air though. And don't stop putting it in till the beads get close to popping. Good luck.
  20. Damn dude u must ride like a girl. I've burnt my legs on every pipe I've owned. With shorts on anyway. Fmf, PC, shearer, sniper, buddies toomys
  21. Amateurs. The only way to properly do that is baby wipes in a ziplock or the smaller travel size packages. I never leave home without em.
  22. Everybody is busting your balls because we've all done it. It's surprising how much difference it doesn't make. I'm sure it's pretty, my first one was too. Wait till you line up next to a bike that's been ported by somebody that knows what the hell they're doin. You'll understand why we are givin you shit then. Porting a 2 cycle is different than a 4 cycle. Crap with valves just needs to flow. Flow is important on this junk we've got but the real powermaker is getting the timing right so you can cram that extra go juice in the cylinder.
  23. Riding boots are like any other boot. They need broken in. Only meant to really bend at the ankle. Might even have to ride in em a couple times.
  24. I've got a pair of alpine stars with the ATV sole I've been wearing forever. They've got leather right around where the pipes are. Most of the cool new riding pants are over boot so you gotta get the good ones with a patch on em. I've got a set of fox zip offs that have leather sewn right around the inside knee area. How the hell are you guys gettin by wearin shorts and not leavin half your friggin leg cooked on the pipe? If I try that and get even halfway aggressive I end up with matching scars.
  25. Which one in the fs? Maybe I need to buy it? Haha.
