  1. Why not try using less oil? Maybe 40:1 or less?
  2. That funny.
  3. I think I actually said that about six months ago but you must by have been payin attention. But I didn't have to buy mine I swapped em out with somebody. But that's the point I was trying to make. Thanks for spelling it out. But like I said pretty sure most of us didn't buy these things JUST for the filter fitment. That was just supposed to be an added bonus.
  4. Not sure if that's the case. Not why i did it anyway. I spent my inheritance on em because I wanted something new, unique, and that supposedly made more hp. The clearance issue was an added bonus that was pretty cool. But just like SonofSand found out though, i didn't have the correct combo of stuff. I guess I should correct that, had correct filters. Didn't have correct intakes. So mine rubbed all over just like my old shearers and vitos did. Changed intake and problem went away.
  5. I was just tellin myself let it die, but we keep draggin it up. Oh well. I'm still surprised somebody like maybe Windy with his vast experience has made any comments about intakes and the role the play with pipe fitment. Has nobody with a set if cpis or shearers changed to a different style of intake and either had more room or less for their filters? I still wonder (because I dont have any other pipes layin around to mess with) I you use the correct combo of intake and pipe you could pretty well clear any filter u wanted? Am I wrong?
  6. Ouch
  7. Post falls? Ain't that over in the sticks somewhere?
  8. Bummer. This the thread with the polished rear master and +4 swinger? Sorry just responded to the email and didn't look. Like to have those too but Im as broke as ol kickstartmyfart. You put me on a payment plan? Maybe I can mow your lawn or somethin?
  9. Sounds like a good time
  10. Damn been there
  11. What about those red fullbores in the pic from 2 months ago?
  12. That's funny
  13. Just bought one. Nevermind
  14. That makes sense. On the head and cases anyway. There's a torque sequence on the crank nut? News to me. I use an impact on the crank nut, clutch basket nut, and the sprocket nut. You definately wanna use the proper torques and sequences on the aluminum stuff. But the nut on the end of a shaft just needs to not come off. They aren't torque to yield. If they were we'd be throwin all this shit away everytime we started over. If Jim says I'm wrong I'll eat my words. He's pretty sharp and I dont think he'll steer you wrong.
  15. Title pretty much sums it up. Watcha got? Mines cracked so I need a new one before I grenades.
  16. I'm running 72 ro 11 paddle extremes on an identical setup. My bike sits pretty high and it'll still wheely like crazy. I've been told i can run more paddle but I wanna slam it like troyz bike before I did that.
  17. My torque spec on that nut is always whatever my impact will get it to. After I goo up the mating surfaces with whatever I sealed the cases with. Never had an issue with my passion tweaked 4 mill stock cylinder.
  18. An impact is handy for the flywheel nut, crank drive gear nut, clutch basket nut, and the output shaft/sprocket nut. Don't really need the clutch holder if ya got an impact. It's a handy tool to have if ya don't have an impact though. You shouldn't need any other special tools than the one NYUK already told you about.

  20. Which of the two flywheels sold? I assume u still have the one with the dark spot on half of it?
  21. Looking for a clean flywheel.
  22. Is that all there is or u parting a whole bike? Looking for a clean flywheel.
  23. Good clean flywheel?
  24. Sending pm. I'll take it if it's in decent shape.
