  3. It won't take hardly any force a all to pop the seal with the socket/threaded rod deal. You're only gonna do that to break the seal. Maybe get an 1/8" of clearance then move to the other side. Then you can pop it apart. The beating it with a mallet method doesn't always work because it's hard to get ahold of the damn thing to put pressure on it while you smack it. And depending what the las guy used it might be stuck good. Once they initial pop is done you'll be good to go. If you have to exert enough force on the cases that you are worrying about cracking them then you definitely are doin it wrong. As usual with these threads we are prob throwing way too much crap into the mix and getting excited about something that was prob already done a friggin week ago.

  5. Did u pull the carbs all the way apart? The tubes the mains screw into come all the way out? U pull the air fuel screws all the way out and blow all the passages out with compressed air and carb cleaner? Those turds can't be half assed. Where u have the screws set at and how did ya set em?
  6. Last one I Did I ended up using a threaded rod, socket, and a nut put em together then used it as a separator right next to the crank/stator. Used the nut to push against the socket to push the cases apart. Also use one on the clutch side if u put it in the right area. That all make sense?

  10. Knew a guy used to do that shit when we rode/camped. Drink my beer, burn my gas, all that. He don't much care for me I don't think. I'd let him "borrow" shit but made sure it hurt every time he did. He called me a dick quite a few times. Nobody else would say shit to the guy. Pitiful. He's about 90% the reason I had a trailer built that would only haul 2 quads.

  12. I ran a couple sets for several years. They were wisecos I think, forged. Never had a problem. Ran em till they wore the cylinders and rattled. Took a few years.

  17. I've got an ltr450 and love it. But I've always thought a 700 raptor with some wider suspension. That big bore grunt would be nice. I don't think I'd even look at a ds650. Not over a fuel injected raptor. Especially if you're gonna spend that kinda cash.
  18. I think most lower end stuff comes with 160s on the front and back. I just upgraded my diamond back to hydro and it was set up like that. Hydro stuff came with a 180 front and a 160 rear. Didn't mean for this post to come across as this is a low end rotor. Sorry if it sounds that way. I have no idea. I was just referencing the size. It is a cool lookin rotor. Looks light.
