Hell yeah, anchor bay is literally my back yard. Bike wont be out this winter, but I'll come out for a beer! I could bring my arctic cat out with a plow on it to make a circle track if guys wanted.

I have a build thread in the images section, apparently not many people make it over there haha.

I don't know squat about monster banshee motors so I wont pretend to; but if the correct pistons are easy to get, run the long rods. It will increase the duration peak cylinder pressure can act on the crankshaft effectively and lessen side loading of the piston since the rod angle will be less. Once I get the EFI setup on my bike dialed, this sounds like a kickass setup to put it on . Once I have it ironed out, I think all the parts can be purchased for less than $1000 easily. Copy over the cal file, increase fuel tables and vroom vroom.

Price on front brake lines?

Since I'm switching to white, don't need these anymore. Call/text me at 248 755 8118, they're up at my shop in Richmond MI at 31 mile & Gratiot. Pickup is preferred, but I will ship if no one local wants them. Bought these off an ice bike, never got around to putting them on mine. They're too nice to cut up for my clarke oversize tank. $150 OBO This is the set that was on my bike for last 8 years of hard riding. Nothing is cracked or ripped, but they've definitely seen some rough miles. Perfect for an "oh shit" spare set or someone piecing a beater bike together. 24 pack of winter lager and they're yours.

Damn that sucks! I've ridden there a few times and always had a blast.

Cheetah Cylinders with PV's NEW!
Whitbread replied to Banshee SE's topic in For Sale - Parts & Accessories
DAMNIT! Why couldn't you have sold these 6 months ago? I wouldn't have bothered making frankenstein triple exhaust port stock cylinders if I could've grabbed a set of bolt on PV cylinders for your price. -
Major bitch and a half. I should've just bought a 7 or 10mm crank, used set of un-ported cylinders and built a stock cyl sleeper that way.

I've been riding for 15 years (banshee for 12) and the first time I hopped on a 400ex with a twist throttle last summer, I ended up on my ass in under 10 mins. Was sliding around a dirt corner, hit grass patch, bike caught traction, I jerked backwards a little and the throttle came with my hand. Wheelied back and landed flat on my rear. Major laughing and harassment ensued from all watching. Twist throttles belong on motorcycles and drag quads only IMHO.

Micro squirt 3.0 is set up to run GM LS coils only as that removes the ignition/coil drivers from the circuit board. The LS coils are logic fired which only take a 5v pulse at a few milliamps. That keeps the footprint of the ecu small. As a side benefit, the stock LS coils have really high Kv output.

This is what honda uses at their engine plant to fix porosity in castings. You know it must be good shit to be used at oem level. Good friend of mine works there and turned me onto the stuff. http://www.restockit.com/1-lb-aluminum-putty-fhard-5300n-(230-10610).html?ci_src=17588969&ci_sku=230-10610&source=IDx20111014x00001g&utm_source=IDx20111014x00001g&utm_medium=paid&utm_campaign=comparison&utm_term=230-10610&bvar10=googlepla

In the market for headlights!
Whitbread replied to bansheeboy537's topic in General Banshee Discussion
I bought some Vision X 10W led headlights from Snopczki (or however the hell you spell his name) a few years back. They've been flawless and I'd buy them again in a heartbeat. Thinking of adding two 4" hid's in the stock position now since I have a 200w stator on the way from Race Tech. -
My prediction thread for Dumbshit's EFI project
Whitbread replied to locogato11283's topic in General Banshee Discussion
Bet mine is running first . -
I need the set of front rims for sure if you still have them. Mine are egg shaped. My arm could also probably be twisted for a set of the .190 rears also as a package , Thanks!

Stock stator, CDI box, and Coil
Whitbread replied to Whitbread's topic in For Sale - Parts & Accessories
Forgot to add, the ground is floated on the stator for DC operation with a rectifier. -
As title says, have stator, cdi, and coil off a running 98 bike. I drove the bike in the shop last month so I know they're good. $65 for the stator $50 for the cdi $10 for the coil Sound fair? Shoot me an offer.

Seeing if anyone happens to have a used natural color Clarke 5.6gal banshee tank laying around they would like to get rid of. Thanks!
-
Ditto. I ran a single for the last 4 years. Single best mod I did for trail riding outside of some works shocks. Everyone who rode my bike couldn't believe how snappy it was and how hard it pulled. I'm only pulling it off to go efi. Otherwise I'd keep the single and pick up a cast smartcarb. My "little" 355cc motor doesn't live on the drag strip or a dyno so I could care less if I'm losing 3hp at 9500rpm (as some claim).

RaceTech Electric High Output Banshee Stators
Whitbread replied to RaceTech Electric's topic in Sponsor Spotlight
Hell yeah, I'm ready to buy one. I don't need a rectifier as I already converted my stock stator to DC to run my led head lights. I like the $50 price point -
