  1. I'm going out on a limb saying that was sarcasm. But then again you never know. Again impact, never had a problem. But if you need a tool I suppose that would work.
  2. It should run real hard. I had a stock stroke 68mm (392cc) and it ran good. Ran it on toomey's and shearer's, definately better on the drag pipes. I had 34mm mikuni flatslides for carbs with stock reeds. It was a lightswitch but on the pipe was a heck of a runner. The 4mill stroker with net you some torque and more power down low. It will still be pretty touchy though.
  3. You could get by with a set of replacement boyesens that would be better than stock for throttle response. All you are really gaining is throttle response with any set in my experience. And you can port your stock reed cages too to help out. I'm sure someone else will chime in. I have VF3's on my cheetah but needed reeds and cages for the giant intake anyway so I can't compare them to a stock set.
  4. Quit trolling. Troll. X2 on the impact, I just carry an electric one with me wherever I go. Works great on lugs when you got a flat on the truck too.
  5. Payment sent this morning
  6. I'll give you 140 shipped for both.
  7. I hope the Heat fucking destroy the NBA this year. Actually though, I'm indifferent. If they got destroyed that would be hilarious too. And the only reason the race card ever comes up anymore in this country is because people can't stop talking about it. People will say or do something and the person on the other end will say "he did that because I'm black" when in reality I bet that never even crossed the other person's mind.

Quit crying. Don't click on the link then.
  9. If you are at home it is best to pull it off and apart. Clean the shit out of it and like they said, a new o-ring or a rebuild kit is the easiest. If it happens in the middle of the dunes just smack it on the side by where it rotates as you are trying to pull it out. It will come loose.
  10. Yup. I got my clutch lever for around $20 shipped off of egay. It was a blem. Has a bit of grinding on the end of the lever. Hardly noticeable, just missing a tad of anodizing.
  11. Bump for ya. I have these for dirt, they do well. And surprisingly, I had a hell of a lot of fun riding them in the dunes a few times to embarass my buddies on 450's haha.
  12. I see that now. I love how it shifts and everything but not sure it is going to keep working with how I ride the damned thing. I'll just have to get used to pulling the clutch again.
  13. They were the forks out of a stock tranny I had. They were not worn much or anything. The fork that is broke only shows signs of normal wear. The front fork looks good too. I'm betting the one that is ground down happened after I broke it. I rode it 3 miles back to the pickup with it choosing between gears for me all the time. It was interesting. Glad the broken fork didn't decide to lock between shafts and crack the cases.
  14. The ATF gets changed after every 3-4 rides. About once a ride, it would not want to shift down, so I would push on it (not hold it, just notice it won't downshift), pull the clutch, let it out and spin the tranny and it would then go down just fine. Shifting up was never a problem. When it let go I wasn't even changing gears, but coming out of a wheelie on the face of the dune. Probably happened when it came down, I'm sure I backloaded it then, and probably hard too.
  15. Yep. I'll be going back to my stock transmission for now. But man I love how easy climbing and dragging is when you just have touch the shifter and pop into the next gear.
  16. Oh shit not a pocket!!! What has the world come to?? Seat looks good, you did a nice job dude.
  17. I think it was a WCR. I bought it secondhand. 1-5 N Down duneable. It was in great shape when I put it in this spring. Yes it got backloaded, probably even shifted down a time or two without the clutch. I would say it failed because I just rode the hell out of it. The fork broke when I was turning out of a wheelie on the face of a dune. Got stuck in about 4th and then would shift on it's own. Honestly I can't get mad about it the way I treated it. It always shifted up perfectly but would be tough to downshift about once a ride. I knew it had and issue and was waiting for it to break basically. I'll just put the stocker back in for now and abuse the shit out of it.
  18. Haha it looks like it. I didn't realize I had that big of a bead till I closed them up and it was squishing out like crazy. I knew it would look like shit when I split them. No leaks though so it's all good.
  19. Well I've been duning the piss out of this overide all summer and one of the shift forks finally gave up on me. The other one is wore really bad and was close to busting. Also took most of the dog off of one gear. Holy fucking yamabond batman. Broken dog. What it should look like.
  20. Put it back together. If you can't get a spark then its no good. Pretty quick and easy to change if you have a good one handy if that one is bad.
  21. If you are on I80 get off at Sinclair (5 miles or so east of Rawlins) and there is a sign on the west side of town to go north. It's like 25 or 30 miles from there.
  22. It's a fun place to ride. I haven't been out there this year but I know that the lake was FULL this spring which basically would make the big hill unrideable and all of the beach would have been covered. There are a couple of nasty climbs on the south side of the hill too, but I can't remember if there is a trail to it without the beach. If you go north of it there are a couple of good spots, some long flat spots for dragging and shit like that. I think it's pretty fun to ride. The big hill is more like 400 feet of vertical, but the challenge is the lack of runout at the bottom. If the lake is full, 0 runout. Down about 10 feet you get maybe 25 feet of flatter sand before you hit the steep. Top of the hill, looking N, or NE a bit. I have a bunch of pictures if I can find them.
  23. Very nice bike. I would love that sundahl frame.
  24. Mine doesn't have a modded shift star. Well it is for the 1-5 Neutral down but other than that the peaks have not been ground down to shift easier. Like I said, it shifts up like a friggin dream its just when you try to backload it a bit it will slip out. It hasn't gotten stuck in gear really or anything like that. It's been hard to shift down a couple times. But not usually. Maybe I just need to quit trying to backload very much. Until it locks up in a gear or something I think I'll leave it in. Crossing my fingers it doesn't grenade lol. But they would be some good carnage pics.
  25. Yeah I'll see what is up first. If it's just a bent fork I have extras laying around. If the dogs are severely jacked up then I'll probably put my stocker back in. I have the complete stock tranny (drum, shafts, gears, forks) so I would just put it all in. If I decide it is a gonner, for me anyway, I'll let you know.
