Dont listen to everyone on here as most have not enouph knowledge to shout out what you should do.You can download software and make your own shit fast.Do some reading Id say talk to people but most replys are from haters to scared to try it them selvesor have no talent. I just got done porting my stock cylinders for a 4mil. I have shearer inframes,35mil pwks,4mil stroke 5mil long rod. My exhaust is 27.5mm from deck, i lowered my intakes as much as possible,transfer top at44mm(stock),I lowered all transfers and exhaust to match piston BDC. Iwas wondering if an additional boost port would would bennifit me.IF one of the porting gurus could contact me.I was planning on boring my jugs tommorow if i feel better but wanted some insite before i did. im looking for a drag port so any adjustments can still be made. if you dont want to post up,PM me. I have an 06 shee with home port work 15-41 gearing +4 swinger round,Stock stroke,40 over,30mm mikunis and fmf fattys on last season. My friend runs a drag radial class with his mustang and im there as part of his crew. I ran my shee at a few test and tunes best time was 13.48 in the 1/4 at 91.6 mph on street tires

If you have one try putting a bigger pilot maybe a30 ,I had a similar problem last year after porting my shee. The bike ran fine for weeks with 27.5 pilots,weather changed alittle(not much either) I didnt run it for a couple of days went to start it nothing happened I cleaned them massaged them and nothing put a 30 in it purs like a kitten

Right now Im running mikuni VM30 carbs with an aggressive port job,needle on first clip,27.5pilot,330 main.Off idle responce is at its best when air/fuel screw is all the way in at its leanest point.Does this mean I need a smaller pilot. Second question I went up in carb size from my stockers to 30mm I should have to run a smaller main than the stockers and Idont. I dont know if its because the jets are universal from stock to 30mm I think I might need a different needle also? PLEASE HELP!!!

I would try a plug chop first where you at with the jetting.I had the exact same set up before porting, mybanshee was perfect on a plug chop with 280mains at sea level

Im moving up to 30mm carbs instead of stockers. rite now I have a 340 main,30pilot,vito needles on 4th clip. Ihave an aggressive porting job,boss intake,milled head and Im at sea level. Any help you guys can offer would be greatly appreciated, would hate to blow her up. What needles, mains,pilots do you suggest

I have had similar problems with stock carbs, check if carbs are in sync.I would start by zeroing both carb tops to bottom, then bring both idle screws down till slides dont move. do this with filter off and light in air box.Then check slide movement with slow throttle play. If one side moves first adjust tops to make even.Start bike holding 1/8 throttle and slowely bring up each idle till cylinders hit right.

Shee really moves well and screams now. would there be any advantage in putting a 2 into one with a 35mm carb on being that I have one in my hands right now. Do you think it will hurt upstairs compared to what Im running now.
