  1. I have a suzuki lt250r ,i have had it for 7 years in stock condition,no mods really mentionable,i have it in storage let me know, cool resto project

  3. Do you know that u need pods to run the shearers,which i have to go with the pipes if u need.If u have pods the 27.5 pilot should be fine might need to bump main up to 300 pm me tommorow i have all sorts of stuff ill be able to set u up decent,im assuming no port work with that jetting rite.

Does sound like 20cc domes to me ill have to take off his domes and cc them, bone stock port , i can easily lose the compression with a port job to bring himm aruond 140-145 range on those domes and who knows if those domes were cut for someone for a purpose, i never pulled jugs off bike either so who knows,stumped me and a few other people

  6. At one time i had mikuni vm 30 wiyh round slides and it jetted exactly same on main, a little on pilots richer,i ran the needle that came with them from sudco

    Imight be getting another shee(trail project) so overide it is.I LOVE MY WIFE. Its all run down but a perfect candidate
  8. squish band is around 11-12mm i dont get it ,unless domes are not 22

    Any one out there running lockups with no overide tranny. I was on the phone with a guy from directdrivecnc friday he went through ultra great lenghts to convince me i dont need overide,he said most most banshee guys are misconcieved by builders and with the rite set up of weights and springs set it up as a two stage and it will work. He stressed no problems.We run a custom lockout on a r1 with no tranny mod

I talked to jeff he wanted me to switch months ago he said the diffrence on my bike would be night day,If i can afford it i want to keep a set of inframes for play,Jeff said to me huge diffrence in power and since im tryen to run two cubs down i need advantages.He recommended shearers but my buddy highroller355 had a set of cpi and he said the way they hit was incredible or it could be he was used to shearer inframes

I checked squish on bike and its at .050, supposidly 22 domes, it was etched in the side of dome.To add another one to the mix my good friend runs a jet ski shop in my town comes over with his snap on tester it reads 168psi both sides, so now thats my snap-on guage(165psi)my craftsman guage(170psi),the bike owners guage(170psi),my friends guage(168psi).Four diffrent testers defied what the dome said so i gave it +4 timing somec12 and she runs hard,how long on a stock crank well see?
  12. I ran stock pilot 1 turn out on screw 240 mains , stock needles in richest position and she ran great pm me if you need more info

Run two or three heat cycles(until cylinder feels hot to touch)let it cool completely.Do not lug the motor around .I usually do 5 gear accel in power for no more than 3 seconds then do 5 gear decel under its own power to break in both sides of rings .1 tank break-in let it ripIf its bone stock (new) yamaha sets piston to cyl clearance looseMy brand new she caught a 4 hr break-in diring a snow storm at 9000 rpm the hole time.That bike ran hard for a stock port

Do two or three heating /cooling cycles,Then take it for a spin ,You should bring into the power in every gear only 4 2-3 seconds.also make sure you let the bike slow down under its own power(decelleration).I usually do 5 gears of accelleration 5 gears decel so u break in both sides of the rings After one tank you will feel the bike running better Letter rip If its bone stock (yamaha set up) The piston to cylinder clearance on stock banshees is set loose so your less likely toscrew things up. I broke my stock banshee in during a snow storm at 9000 rpm through every gear and that was the strongest running stock port bike around me. rode it for 4 hrs straight (good break in ha)

It took me a total three hours to put the harness in the bike on page1-2 of this post, my harness has been in my bike after 2months of owning it in 06, never had problems or issues and didnt even see it all again till i just did the motor again,three hours of my time with snaking wires through frame,did help that i have spools of wire on hand ,but i didnt need much
