  2. Im on the other side of the state but I dont believe the 260s are gonna be enough i took the air box off and was running 330s but if you still have the air box id say somewhere between 300 and 280 , also fattys like a little bit fatter pilot jet id go to a 27.5 :biggrin: -Zach
  3. I just Had Bob over at RB Racing do my cylinders.. he did an agressive dune port for me and did a great job. Turn around time was only 2 weeks which isnt bad if you ask me for the busiest time of year. He did a great job and the thing rips like you wouldnt imagine. Bob is a great guy and always got back to me very quickly. Shoot him an emal [email protected] Bob is a good guy and will take time to talk to you about what you want.   8. SO i got the shee all back together tonight and ran down the road a few times. When i really get on it i just get r's and it doesnt jerk like i know it should so yea my clutch is slippin like mad. I have barnett springs on the way should be here thursday. Thanks for all the replys -zach
  9. Alright guys heres my mod list... im currently in the process of putting everything back together and was wondering if i will have clutch slippage issues. As of now i have FMF Fatty exhaust, VF2s, agressive dune port by rb racing. head milled for race gas , timing at +4 k&N pods , weisco pro lites ummmmmmm yea and some misc stuff that has nothing to do with power so should i get some hd springs while im into it??? thanks for your help -Zach :biggrin:

Hey guys this is a noob thing so bear with me.... i got a perfect set of vforce 2 s off ebay for $50 but when i went to put them on the stock boots wont fit because of the little wing dealies that stick out the back and go into the stock reeds so did i get screwed or do u need to run different intake boots with the vf2's ????? thanks -zach :biggrin:
  12. Alright guys heres the deal I found this on ebay today and it seems like a good price. Notice they are not real Skat Trak Haulers but I was wonderin if anyone had any experience with them?   13. I would say that u should go up a little in the main jet size I would think that 300 may be a good starting point but that may be a little rich ... im sure everyone else will give u some good info GOOD LUCK :thumbsup:
  14. When u look at the carb bowls there will be one that has a tiny little hole in the bottom of the bowl where the Choke pickup slides into. The choke pickup will slide into a hole and at the base of that piece of the casting is a tiny hole that allows the choke to get gas...

  17. Ok guys at the risk of sounding like a noob......... where will my money be better spent? Getting a set of VForce 3s or a cool head and some smallerd domes to get my compression up. Right now im running fatties with a port job also have k&N pods. Just wonderin what will give me more bang for the buck..... Thanks alot.........

  19. Well i just got my shee this fall and so far i have put on a set of fattys, jetted of course, mild port job, and im running k&n pods ... im about 200lbs
  20. Alright guys its that magical time of year when uncle sam gives back som of that hard earned money and im gonna buy some paddles. I live in western michigan about 45 min from Silver Lake needless to say its a must...... So im thinkin about Skat Trak haulers just wondering what u guys like and how many paddles u run???????????
  21. Did some more tinkering today and i can get the thing to idle all be it a high idle. But when i hit the gas 2 or 3 times it stays revved and i gotta pull the choke to get er to stop.... yes the choke tube is in place....

  23. Yes I have removed the air screws and cleaned that passage on both carbs as well.... its acting like it has a leak but i know the boots are good checked over them several times. Just put brand new head gasket on her and also replaced the gaskets at the base of the jugs torqued em all down to specs.... maybe its sucking air at the top of the TORS CAPS..... yea and i think i will get rid of it .... thanks everyone for helping me out if u can think of anything else please let me know and ill keep you all updated. :thumbsup:

  25. elevation is 600ft but i would think if it was rich i wouldnt be having the rev problem with the choke off
