Ill bet you could do it if you cut some off the stock silencer and put a piece of high temp hose in between. Probably not look the best but I think it would get er done

Alright guys there may be no difference but im just wondering, the old fmf gold series pipes the ones that dont say fatty on them, wondering how the power delivery compares to the Fatty. Seems to me that they have a little bit different shape. I currently have fattys but picked up some old school golds for my other bike. Thanks Zach

You can get a compression tester at any auto store. I would also take the carbs apart and clean them out really good. Any small pieces of sand can clog one of the small holes that fuel flows through. Take some compressed air to it and see if that helps. If you do have low compression 100 or lower you will be in need of a new top end. Time to bore it out and put some new pistons and rings in it. Others will help you out as well. Zach

If you are leaving the lid on somewhere around 260 is a good starting point.

I have a plastic one. Wish I could find a nice smooth one too!

Need to know your elevation ..... i would start around 300, 260 will most likely be lean

Alright, Last weekend I lost one of my sparkies and rather than spend 75 bucks on a new one I want to just put some screen infront of the end cap. My quiestion is will this pass at Silver or not I know they are strict on sparkies. Just wondering if anyone has done it and if they bitch about it. Thanks Zach

Grooves in the clutch basket can also cause dragging. Look where your fibers contact the basket and see how badly its grooved.

Yea it was that Friday and it was nuts.... every dune dropped straigt off.... Needless to say i rolled it a couple of times. Ill be there first thing Saturday my cousin is coming with his yzf 250. Ill see you there for sure.

During the peak times of the year you have to get vouchers to get into the parking lot.... I do believe they stopped giving out vouchers the weekend after Labor Day, so you should be able to just drive in. I will probably go but all my buddies are backing out on me.
