  1. Building my First is a great guy to deal with. Good communication. Fast shipping and met my request. Thanks again man!
  2. Awaiting a parts list if you part it out. On another note, why do you NEED a 4 stroke quad? If all you do is trail riding and low end stuff then i can understand. But if it's top end riding, 4 strokes fail hard unless u have tons of engine work.
  3. If dont right, portwork can give your power all the way through the powerband. Increasing low end-mod as well. Mine did. That will net you more gains than any of the normal bolt ons imo. To do a top end, you need to take the juggs off anyways
  4. You can save some money and get your stock head milled for cheap. I do own a noss head and love it but it will save you some coin. Changeable domes kick ass though! And adjustable timing plate as mentioned.
  5. You have a good list but i would strongly recommend port work and maybe some cpi pipes. The cpi pipes would throw you over budget though. T5's are all around good pipes but for dunes you will be all the time in mid-top rpm ranges. However, do NOT get cpi's unless you are ported to match them. They suck on a non-ported engine. Portwork is night and day buddy. And since you ride dunes, imo, that's a must. And you dont need a heavy duty clutch. Tusk used to have a clutch fiber/disc set for $40 if i remember right. Elka shocks are top of the line. No need to get something that expensive imo. There's cheaper alternatives that will do you fine. You can also get your head milled for about $40. That's cheaper than a cooling head. I do own a NOSS head and love it but i'm just trying to save you some money man. Only problem with a milled head is you can change the domes(compression). But that shouldnt be an issue unless you know in the future you will run race fuel. You pretty much want the most compression w/o detonation. As for suspension set up, i cant answer that. I just like going fast in a strait line
  6. The answer is simple. Disguard both containers and buy new gas and mix it properly. It's pretty stupid to test it out and screw up the engine.
  7. Damn the seller wont allow me to buy it w/ an offer, only bidding. Zach, id jump on that but i want the regular length ones because i want the leverage. Sry man.
  8. Sweet, how much you end up winning them for? I just check when the bids end, ill be at work at night
  9. I had my shee ported by flotek with great results. I just had a aggressive play port matched to my riding style and pipes. It was very bad ass and spanked 450's with ease. I can not comment on any other people mentioned here because i live in a small town and im the only shee around. I also havent gotten to see anybody else's port work in action. You can contact denny(owner of flotek) and yall can work out which type of porting is best for your riding style. I have a set of juggs that will probably be arriving today along with a flywheel to be lightened. We spoke on the phone today and worked out what will be best for my set up. You can ask all the questions you want and he will help you meanwhile being very nice. I know this because i was a complete idiot when i rebuilt my shee the first time. He helped me over the phone countless times and always returned my phone calls! This is the 2nd set of juggs he will be doing for me. My first set was lost in the mail courtesy of the freakin USPS after i resent them in to get my port alter for my new cpi pipes. One shop's trail port might be anothers dune port. That's why you need to contact whoever you chose to port your juggs. Denny and i discuss what pipes i will be running, fuel, domes etc. I think it's $300 plus shipping for what you want. That's cheap man and you will be satisfied! Shoot me a pm if you have any questions. Tell him Cody recommended him if you talk to him  Everyone has their favorite builder. Good luck with your choice.
  10. I just sent him a message offering him a certain amount. Hopefully he bites . thanks man!
  11. anybody have a link to some refurb regular length(no shortys) ones with the buy it now option. I dont care about the color. I am not home enough to do the whole bid war thing.
  12. nothing changes. It's still as reliable as non-ported. You can beat the hell out of it and it will ask for more.
  13. I would save my money on getting it dynoed. Yeah i dynoed my bike but i was curious to see what it did. #'s arent important my man....not one bit. It's real easy to install and rejet too. More money you can save.
  14. These are all around pipes like t5's and t6's. Top end pipes are cpi's and shearers etc. I sold my t5's to get cpi's but only because i do more top end riding. And t6shee, the t6's are awesome. I had those on my bike when i got it and they did awesome. They even do well with port work.
  15. IMO just stick what with you have. In all honesty, get a cheap 400ex is you want something with some low end. A banshee will always have a powerband. Detuning that sucker for low end is a waste imo. It sucks you dont get to open it up much with the trail riding. If i road trails a lot, id buy a 4 stroke in a heartbeat. My banshee is rough and handles like crap.
  16. i found a set. i will update this if it falls through. thanks everyone who looked.
  17. Good. Been working a lot. New job etc. You? $175 shipped. juggs only.
  18. mmm long time no talk eh how much shipped? I want just the juggs.
  19. anyone bought from this guy? feedback? i want those stock juggs....
  20. I'm looking for a set of both cylinders. Not ported. With a lot of life(bore) left to it. Post here, not in pm's. thanks.
  21. your gonna need to be set up right. I ran slower after my portjob due to spinning till 4th. hole shots on asphalt ftl!
  22. They will all beat you if they can drive. The 450 dirtbike will beat you the worst. race em, video it. post it.
  23. cpi's and a port job. That's what i have and i love it. Pulls WAY longer and harder than my t5's ever did.
