  1. just put some pro wedges in the back. You are getting detroyed off the line because you cant hook. I know how it is, mine does the same thing. It sucks playing catch up.
  2. To adjust that screw, loosen the nut so you can turn the screw. Then watch the arm ontop the case(under the carbs) and line it up with the point on the case. Like this --><--- Then tighten it back up. It might be already good. Mine wasnt adjusted right and mine didnt want to shift good at WOT. It was because my clutch wasnt disengaging all the way. Very simple fix once you know about it. I ended up changing all kinds of things like the shift shaft, star, springs etc before i tried the screw. On a side note, you can also turn the bike on it's side if you want to save the tranny oil.
  3. put a 14th front. Stock gearing is the best all around gearing there is. I see no point in a 15 unless you have about 90+hp. I sold my t5's and got CPI's. I will never go back to t5's. They are a good play pipe but i love how long and hard these cpi pipes pull.
  4. in that video, the banshee got off the line better. It's usually the banshee spinning off the line while the 450 hooks up better and goes. Then it's a game up catch up.
  5. if i had to guess. I would say nothing was wrong with either bike. 450's are quick. period.
  6. man you bought a shee just to stunt on I would not own a banshee if i didnt have a lot of wide open roads/fields to play on. Gemme a 450 any day to stunt on. Ah well, atleast it's different.
  7. the 450 set up just sits a lot lower than stock. Best thing i did with my 450 set up was take it off and put it back to stock. It was just too rough...... amen.
  8. port job. That's about 300-400. Then 20ish dollars for gaskets. But honestly i think when you decide on a person to port your juggs, decide on what's the best overall final set up for the engine. Everything has to work together. The filters, pipes, reeds, milled head or domes(domes are in aftermarket heads), etc. With that said, it could take a bit longer to get the goodies you need for the complete engine set up. That's ok, just enjoy the bike for what it is now. nothing wrong with that. that's my 2 cents....
  9. already did man, just not on here  http://forums.everything2stroke.com/banshe...-hello-cpi.html
  10. kawiking had awesome communication even though i was late to reply/respond. He shipped the next morning and packaged my goods very well. I would be again from him in a heartbeat! thanks again man!! :thanks: :thanks:
  11. id like the cpi's if you dont want a lot for them.
  12. to the top......again
  13. well how much people sell them new for? just curious. i know i paid $475 for the arms and shocks.
  14. stay away from yfz450 front ends on a banshee. I have mine sitting in the shed because it's a piece of crap. It's too damn rough. The only positive thing about it is it widens the front and helps cornering over the OEM set up. Mine is going to sit in the shed until someone wants them for dirt cheap. The shipping would cost more than id prob sell it for. and i think it's right over +3 inches wider than stock.
  15. i cheap way to get some more traction is to get set of kenda knarlys and cut every other row of knobs off. Works great but it wont slide to good unless you spin the hell out of the tires. Does great for playing around like i do. Either way with a banshee, you will get tire spin once the powerband hits. If you can ride it's no big deal. I personally like to just take it a little slow. and ya boost bottle is fine. It wont hurt anything. What people bitch about is the potential of that little extra weight cracking those rubber intakes that it goes in. Personally mine never gave me any problems but i took it off to free up some space on top the carbs.
  16. ima cable guy so we i dont sit in front a pc all day. On a lighter note, if the customer isnt around when we do an internet install we can view their personal pictures/videos. Two weeks ago a dude had gigs of porn in one folder. 2nd one i clicked on was a horse and a woman. That disturbed me. :shoothead: lets just say as i got him to sign the paper work i looked at him a little different....
  17. how about you spend a few hours making one hell of a FAQ thread. Then get some more input from other members to make it better then once the final revision is done.....make it a sticky then lock it. done.
  18. My god, you quoted his entire post right under him. awesome. anyways, back to what the guy asked. You do not need anything else. Your bike will be fine. Just check out everything over real good. Look for loose screws, bad bearings etc. Lube her all up, change the tranny oil and you are ready for some fun. I dont think different gearing is needed. First gear is pretty low for a stock bike and since your's is already regeared, you are fine. You dont need that fancy of a tire to ride trails. Once the powerband hits, the tires will spin spin anyways. If the dirt it a little damp, that's about the only way you might hook up. That's how it was for me anyways. Also imo, the hell with all these power upgrades. I think suspension would help you out. What's the fun of riding the shee all day long if it takes a toll on your body. You can get some aftermkart suspension for a decent price. As i said, IMO nothing is needed. Just dont drag race anybody at all. never. Because if you lose, you will want to get it ported and the money put will start and never stop ::
  19. piped shees are way louder depending on what pipes go on it. A buddy of mine has the FMF's on his and it's not that loud. On the other hand my former t6 and my current t5's scream. My buddys cub with shearer's also screams. Get some pipes man. You need to let the engine exhail(spelling?) better, not just be able to take in more air. All mods must work together to get the mods out of it.
  20. pics please....im very interested
