When the desert season ends here in Souther Cali im going to get some new carbs on my bike. The mods are in the signature. I still have stock carbs My brother has all of the same mods including porting (except he has sheerer pipes and a milled head and I have t-5 pipes and a noss head w/ 19cc domes) He has 35mm Khien (sp?) Air Striker carbs also. Do you guys recommend that I get 35mm Khien Air Strikers? They seem to work well on his bike. He beats me drag racing at the hill, but I smoke him on the flat stuff. I think its because he has a larger rear sproket and gets me from the hole shot. Let me know what you guys thing. Thanks for the advice.

I would have to say carb adjustments need to be made. My friends bike did that and he could not figure it out. He took it to the guy that did his port work and he played with the carbs and brought it back home and it worked fine.

I have a 200WATT RS in my shee. 1st one cut out at high RPM right out of the box at the dez. 2nd one works perfect and I love it.

I want to move to AZ so my woman and I can buy a damn house and I don't have to drive up all the damn grades to get to Gordons and Glamis... I just would hate trying to find new jobs when we both have good jobs now. Ohh well i'll just rent forever at least when something goes wrong at the house I don't have to pay for it.

25 from San Diego. My dad is 46 and still rides a banshee with the best of em. Im getting his bike ported for him for Christmas because my mom wont let him spend anymore money on it. =)

Im not doubting it im just saying they are NOT STRONG what so ever. less than one year and I had to fix it. Would not buy again or recommend anyone to buy unless you feel like making some gussets if you have the time and experience.

I could have sent it back and got another one and had it welded, but that is a PITA. I didn't ride after I saw it cracking because that is what my dad did (he though the paint was chipping) but it was a crack and it got bigger. I think my swing arm was a second chance. We had 2 of them and 100% of them cracked. I don't really care im confident my weld and gusset will provide long life for this swing arm and I only added about 1 pound max.

I ordered the ALL BALLS kit for the upper and lower from Rocky Mountain. I hope its better than stock there were like 8 reviewes on it and they said its better. If it not, to late! =) Thanks for the advice. Sucks that these seals and crap are already worn and the bike is only an 05.

No I didn't think that he was going to say that. I just wish that he would improve his product he makes it sound better than it is. He got all pissed off at me like it was my fault. It says virtually indestructable and I nearly killed it in less than one year.

Im actually in the process of shipping my RS back to him for a replacement. At high RPM it starts to cut out a little. In first when revving its fine but if im drag racing I can not even start out in 1st because the RPM is so high that it cuts out righ away. The guy that did my porting said go back to the stock one but I damaged it taking it out so im EFFED in that catagory. I bent one of the coils trying to get the flywheel off w/o the correct tool

I have a +4 swing arm. I know that I installed it correctly. There is a klunk sound that comes when I grab the rear grab bar and shake the bike to the right and left. Its coming from the "dog bone" that droops down, the shock connect to and then connects to the swing arm. Its where the actual dog bone connects top the frame. I have never touched that bolt and the bike is a 2005. Is this normal "play" that is supposed to be in the suspension or not?

I e mailed him and told him that I was going to post this and he said "DON'T THREATEN ME with spreading false roomers" I said its not false because it happened to the only 2 swing arms that we bought from you and he never replied, but I didn't like his tone of e mail.

The guy sells on e bay under the title: Choice of length +2" +4" +6" +8" +10" +12" and powdercoat color and his name on e bay is: 2manysprees The swing arm that I purchased from this guy AND my dad's swing arm (both +4's) which are the exact same thing both started cracking at the desert at the same time, in the same spot where the dog bone mounts to the swing arm just a little to the side. You can see where the welds are along the side is where it was cracking with LESS THAN ONE YEARS USE. I guess I can not talk total trash about him because it has a 1 year warranty, and was willing to exchange for a new one, but I did not want to exchange it for another one because I know the same thing would happen again. BECAUSE I purchased one for my DAD at the same time (note my dad is 46 years old and does not ride as hard as I do) although he does drag at the hills at Gordon's and Glamis all the time and likes to drag on the flats as well. We only ride dunes. I jump my bike every now and then but nothing that I would think would bend or break anything. I would consider our rides mans rides that are usually fast-paced through the dunes balls out. ANYWAYS my dad was to lazy to weld his right now so he shipped it back for another one even though he said "yeah it will probably happen again" but he is probably going to weld his up like mine before he uses it again. That's my rant and I just wanted to advise people to purchase from another person unless you want this to happen to you. Check out the gusset and weld... I found some good spray paint that almost matches the same and I painted it last night. If I feel like it i'll put it back on tonight.

I dont have a dynatek but I still run the BR8ES. Would I benefit from a non-resister plug?

I have never ran them in my banshee, but I used to have a quadzilla and that thing was a PITA to start. Made it much easier to start the quadzilla. I have no starting issues with my shee so I run the standard BR8ES. I think I read one here somewhere that the banshee engine does not like any plugs but the BR8ES but I could be making that up.
