  1. well its a clutch issue i would think. what kinda oil are you useing. did it feel like it was grabbing at all? maybe your clutch is on its way out.
  2. i ment porting you cyilinders. do a sreach on here and you will find all kinds of info. um porting cages you must be talking about what i have in my list of mods. i ported my stock reeds cages and matched them to my boyseen reeds. people do that to save alittle money. all it does is just alowe alittle more flow then stock. you said you have vforce reeds so you dont have to port them they already flow much beter then stock aparently. so yeah do a search on PORTING and you will find lots of cool stuff to read about making large amounts of power. oh yeah you could free up some power just by switching to some 20inch non mud tires

Well my name is brook. i am a guy. 21 years old, heavy equipment operator, and haveing a banshee has been a dream of mine since i was a kid. i have a 2004 banshee got it new. i can wrench on stuff ussualy fix it or figure out whats wrong. one thing im not good as is SPELLING. if you read some of my post please dont make fun its a disability lol. jk laugh all ya want. anyway have a good day ladies.
  4. well sine the banshee doesnt have vavles like 4 strokes. they let the fuel and air through. so the better flow you have through the reeds the more fuel and air your getting. = more hp. thats my understanding of them anyway someone else im sure will be able to tell you exactly what they do. bansh eman if you look him up are look at some of his posts at the bottom of his posts there a really cool pic thing that shows how a 2stroke motor works.
  5. cheak you coolent level make sure you not burning it. that will create lots of white smoke.
  6. proabably port work would be your next thing to do i guess. maybe some 28mm carbs. to get your mods go to MY CONTROLS, then edit signature on the left hant coloum down near the bottom then type them in the space provied and hit submit
  7. my controls at the top of the screen. then once there go to edit signature, on the left side menu down to the bottom.
  8. well i would highly suggest egtting some bolt on stuff like reeds. big difference in overall power. pipes, another big improvment. could get it ported if you wanted to but if you al stock give the reeds and pipes a try you wont be disapointed.

  12. buy engine ice if you want anti frezze and superioir cooling. ither way if you have a cooling problem these are just bandaid fixes. but do aparently lower the temp of you bike
  13. i guess its all up to you as long as you make sure the slide will be opeing the whole way. i dont have any slack in mine

  15. i though you take the springs off from the bottom? if i take the rezzys off wont all the gas or whatever come out?

  18. havent gotten these shocks yet but i want to clean them up and get the springs pc'd when i get them. how do you take the springs off? i have any idea but im sure someone will know the right way
  19. are you GAy lol there will always be parts for the banshee. it a legend. its like the honda civic of atv's. just like the 250r if you really wanted one you could buy all the parts you need a build one and they have been gone for years

  21. first of all why not put all info in one post. you have 3 post asking the same question. whats the best pipe. as jbooker said before what kinda rideing do you do. let us know and we will tell you the pipe. post some pics of you out of frame pipes and well will tell you what kinda they are. start realying post on here theres lots to learn trust me this is the best banshee site going anything you ever want to know you could probably find it useing the search feature. dont mean to chap your ass but someone is really going to lay into you sooner or later for the multiple posts on the same subject
  22. whats it cost to send works shocks to worksperformace to get rebuilt and revalaved? or does anyone know any places in Canada that does shocks.? im picking up a set that is valved for a 220lbs rider and im 145. probably be way to stiff to use the way they are?
