  1. Ok the best Kart computer is a mychron 4 by AIM. You could save some money and buy a used mychron 3 of ebay you really could get by with a 2 but the screens are a lot smaller. With the 3's and 4's get your water temp, MPH (with add on), G force's, RPM's, egt, and lap time (if you got 2 becons you can do split time and get 1/8 mile times if you wanted. All of this is saved in the memory. If it was me and I was looking for consistency I would hook up the shutter box on the dyna and run one of the rpm switches to a shift light and that would be all you need http://www.mychron4.com/default.asp
  2. The turbo banshee on gtperf.com is Garrett's from GT Performance. He is not on here. Its a true 350cc banshee making 200hp. At least I assume thats the one you are talking about I haven't watched the video. Im am sure he would be willing to help you anyway he can. 816-450-8580
  3. I won't say it "can't" be done but most of the time when people don't use there clutch on a reg trans they feather the throttle.

  5. have fun and take something with a/c
  6. lol... You might need to get some overtime so you can check out more sites.
  7. I would say you can find a stock motor for 600 - 1000 I wouldn't spend more than that. I think your best bet would be find a complete qaud in a box and put it together. I just bought one for 500 with everything except the top end.
  8. Check the exhaust is the air equally coming out of both? Sounds like you are only burning one cylinder. Check the filters you can run them down the street (paved) without the filters, make sure your carbs are tight, reeds could be broke, coil
  9. direct drive spindel mounts
  10. Well what did you find? My guess is bent forks from you rear brake locking up.
  11. lol
  12. My seat is velvet.
  13. I was going to say I would send you mine for free but shipping might be to expensive.
  14. yours is a very nice setup for sure. Gt uses Garrett turbo's I think I will ask him tomorrow
  15. The shorter the swing arm the more traction you will get. I would leave the swinger you have on there and get a wheelie bar. You don't need a shock on a track get a strut you will see an improvement in your times and have a good spot to attach your wheelie bar edit.... Start with a 18/39 and go from there. Last time I went I ran a 17/39 and was running out of gear at 93 mph
  16. Way to many postes to read on this for me after reading the first 4 or 5 I aready had to many questions and answers so to make this short I will say this. GT Performance (www.gtperf.com) makes a turbo kit for a banshee. His turbo banshee is a true 350 stock stroke and bore making about 200 hp. I am almost sure his is a blow through with carbs but I could be wrong about that.
  17. Lone Star sells a drilled frame. In drag racing EVERY oz. counts. I don't know how much that would save but you know the guy is comitted to being light when you see a frame like that. I would be worried about sand going in there and making it even heavier.
  18. looks like it might be just a little farther than LS but without the support (parts) LS has but it will be some place different for sure I can't wait for a ride report.
  19. Check this out a new park. Dunes in Kansas. It is expected to open July 4. http://testing.gctelegram.com/view.cgi?cat...ry&id=47741 http://cjonline.com/stories/061907/bre_syracuse.shtml
  20. You can do it with your setup but you are leaving a lot on the table. First you should get a dyna so when you spray you can retard your timing when the button is pressed. then you can run around advanced when off the bottle. They say a good rule of thumb with nos is never spary more than %50 of you motors HP to stay safe. I think you really want to stay safe so stay under that. I would guess you at 40 hp so 10-15 shoot would be ok. The dry systems (boondockers) are pretty simple to tune but the wet systems (NOS, Cold Fusion, NX, ECT.) give more power and might be a little safer if tuned right. I would get a new carb though. But then you will want a swinger to keep the front down then next you will feel slipping in your clutch and want a lockout, of course then your bottole will be empty when you want it so you will get a stocker crank to alway have power, then your buddy will beat you with out nos and you will be like I need a cub. Then you will need a new swinger and you will decide to lighten your frame. well you get the point it would be cheaper to loss the race......
  21. Background I bought my wife a banshee last year it had T-5
  22. There is no dought I have twice as much in my 450 as I do in my twice as fast Banshee. It easily costes twice the dough for the same go. FYI the power now is to 450's what the boost bottle is to Banshee's....A JOKE
