  1. Maybe I have no idea what your shee has done to it. Bolt on to bolt on the 450 will edge out the shee in an even race once you get a banshee above 70hp the shee starts to have the edge for sure. I wish we were closer of course my 450 isn't just a bolt on...

  9. They are worth twice the money they charge if you need one. It doesn't look like you are there yet but I run one on both my quads and love it. I went through 3 clutches in one weekend then put the lockout on and never had a problem since. The clear lens looks cool but isn't the best it WILL end up cracking and leaking but if you take care of in and don't get any brake fluid on it it will last a while.
  10. You can say the same thing even more about the banshee. There isn't very many bolt on banshee's around that will touch my 450
  11. Is the motor together or is it in a box? Would you drive to waynoka?
  12. I would also consider a new pipe after you get your fuel and gearing down. That pipe is leaving a lot on the table with that setup. What times and speeds did you run. What gearing?
  13. I don't have it in front of me I will have to dig out the crf one but the wr would be a little different. I am all about weight trust me I know. My lightened stock frame shee weighs 262 pounds wet and you can't get there if you don't worry about ozs. I just made it out of alum. plate its not to heavy I would say it ends up being a wash after you lose the big res., hose, and tabs. It just looks cleaner

  15. I just can't believe there are people still out there not giving the 450's there due. Who ever doesn't give them there respect must not have raced many. Anyone that has spent much time dragging knows the 450's can run. Give the 450 20+ years and see what kind of power they have. A stock 450 w/o the spark arrestor will run next to a piped/filtered banshee. I have video to prove it. We raced over 10 times switched quads and race and kept trading wins. It was my 03 banshee with K&N filters and T-5

  17. I think I could build a light 120+hp shee for somewhere around 3g's it would look like crap but run str8 for at least 6 passes.
  18. It is easy to make a bracket but it won't sit the way it was intended but should work fine I would make you one if you want

  20. Well like I said I would build a quad to do it. I think it would be best to set a limit maybe get two guys to build one give them a month and maybe have a $ limit. I think I could build a very fast quad for a few grand. I might have to get a few freebies and a few parts almost ready to wear out but it could be done.   22. I have a crf one polished with a bracket for a banshee frame that I couldn't get to work right I think the honda ones dont have the psi the yamaha's do. You are looking for a WR450 master cylinder but it won't bolt right up you will need to make a bracket. I just bought on but have hooked it up yet.
  23. A swing arm is cool and might impress the boss but it shouldn't take more than a day or two to do it. I have been looking for a reservoir for the master cylinder that will bolt right up to it. Just take that little screw out of the plastic thing that the hose goes on and slide the res in there. I would buy one if you figure it out. There is always a chromolly frame but that might take more than a week. Like matoons but without the leaking...
